As always the food and hospitality were just like that found in a cozy Indian home. The light and lively flavors, the warm welcome of restaurant staff, and the highly satisfied taste buds walking out. Everything goes better with a cup of hot chai.
The palak chaat is the stuff of my food dreams and that craving can only be satisfied with a plateful (no sharing) at WTF.

Indian food better than India! Every morsel worth relishing.. exceptional flavours, service by Harpreet made it special. This place is gold standard for quality and taste in Indian food. I would have mentioned the items i ate (had a full course) but all were outstanding so try as much as you can!

This restaurant is located at a nice (corner) location in Bangsar. They serve multi-cuisine along with liquor. We had tried India Paneer curry dish (forgot the exact name of the dish), along with Naan and dal makhani. It tasted a lot different than quite a few other good restaurants however it's only a little more pricey than a few other good Indian restaurant brands. Overall, it was a nice experience being there. The staff is courteous as well and we would like to go there again. Thanks and keep up the good show!

Unprofessional and rude service. Booked reservation via eatigo and at door step manager told there is no discount. With no courtesy to call and inform in advance. I could have still had my lunch without discount but the behaviour of staff (manager) the way he communicate is so rude so it’s better to walk away. He said in one line no discount because system issue and turned around and continued to eat and busy with his handphone. The waiter had to go back to him and ask him to explain to us as we were blankly standing at the door.

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in KL. The first occasion was enjoyable & and the vegetarian Indian food we ate was tasty & relatively cheap. The service was very attentive. On the second occasion, the service was very poor and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very tense and unwelcoming. We couldn’t wait to leave. The server didn’t bother asking us if we enjoyed our food. Clearly this restaurant delivers a variable and inconsistent experience.

Easily one of the best vegetarian restaurants I've ever visited in Southeast Asia! During my first few days in Malaysia, I went to WTF's Bangsar location and was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of vegetarian meals available there—something I had never really seen or experienced in any other nation. This restaurant is conveniently located in one of Kuala Lumpur's best areas, making it a great choice for tourists looking to enjoy delicious food served in generous portions at a reasonable price. It's also close to many popular tourist attractions and the majority of the city's top hotels! There were numerous waiters all around the restaurant and the service was excellent since they made sure that everyone had a good dining experience! The Afghani Paneer Surprise, Eggplant Bruschetta, Nasi Lemak Sizzler, and a few Indian desserts like halwa and gulab jamun were among the items I tried here. Everything I tasted was amazing, and while I already adore the flavour profiles of Indian cuisine, it was interesting to see that vegetarian dishes could provide the same experience. Their inventive take on the classic bruschetta was an Eggplant Bruschetta, made with crispy fried eggplants. The flavours went well together, with a hint of sweetness and spice. One of my favourite dishes from this restaurant was the Afghani Paneer Surprise, which I would definitely have again! The entire dish was fantastic, and the cheese in the middle was absolutely melted and gooey. I appreciated how each flavour was highlighted and the dish was substantial enough for two to three people to share. One of my first experiences eating Malaysian food while in Malaysia was the Nasi Lemak Sizzler which impressed me by both the food itself and its sizzling and theatrical presentation. In addition to having a large selection of hot and cold beverages, you can easily share these dishes so that you can experience as many items as possible when dining here. The desserts did not let me down either; I particularly enjoyed the Gulab Jamun, which was quite warm and sweet. I had a great experience here, and whether you're a visitor, local, or a resident, coming here for some consistently excellent food is highly recommended!

As an Indian vegetarian visiting KL for the first time, we took the tip to go to this restaurants from our pick up driver
We were not disappointed.
We hand dhai puri to start...tasty 😋
I had pav bhaji. It was yummy and my husband ordered food without onions, which he really enjoyed.
We were stuffed when we left
On par with some fabulous restaurants in London for the fraction of the price.
Please go

Being in Kuala Lumpur is always a treat.
Our sister invited us for dinner at What a Food (WTF). She mentioned that I’ll be impressed by the variety of food, service and ambience.
My spouse and myself joined her for dinner at WTF. So as usual we were looking forward to it as she’s a regular guest there and on top she has a very good taste.
We arrived at the restaurant and we noticed that the restaurant was almost full with big tables.
As our table was already reserved we were seated and we requested our sister to make the choice of menu.
She opted for the chaat, the vegetarian roll, the risotto, masala chai and juice.
Well I must admit that the chaat is divine and the masala chai is really the typical Indian masala chai. The food and flavors reminded me of India. The risotto and rolls were tasty too.
All guests were enjoying their meals and all the waiters were very busy. They are very professional as they can take care of the service very promptly paying attention to guests taste and request.
We really enjoyed our meals and of course the good company of our host. The decor was very lovely with the different Colours and stories on the wall.
There’s also the Indian sweet section and the sweets really looked yummy. We couldn’t have sweets as the dinner portion was too much for us.
We would recommend WTF to guests.

We went here based on a recommendation from an Indian friend. Food was very good, a bit of Indian fusion. We got an eggplant dish, a spinach chaat, some spicy peanuts, a chapati, masala chai and a mango lassi. All were very good, with the standouts being the chaat, the chapati, and the masala chai. Our server, Preethy, was very knowledgeable and patiently answered all our questions about some of the unfamiliar dishes (to Americans who frequent Indian restaurants in the US). Highly recommended and we will go here again when in KL.

After a hectic Saturday with friends etc I decided to skip my diet and try some Indian street food. I found a place quite close to my place with a weird name WTF and decided to try it as the menu was pretty extensive. To my surprise this was a really nice looking restaurant and the service was excellent. I ordered the Chola which is a chickpea stew served with 2 fried breads. The food was delicious, I then opted for an Indian dessert and it was just as good. Planning to order takeaway next.
I had to leave to meet friends and forgot my new iPhone and airpods on the table. Upon realising this I asked my taxi to drive back and upon arriving my waiter came down to my car (in the rain) with my devices.
Clean restaurant with ambitious management, well run, excellent food and service.

Being vegetarian in KL is hard. Walking to WTF we didn’t have to worry about that.. everything is vegetarian!! The pani puris were delicious, the naans and curries made to the point. Great place to visit in Bangsar.

I’ve reviewd this restaurant, had an excellent meal and been here twice since both times with good food & service. My son just arrived from Stockholm and we decided to enjoy Sunday lunch at WTF.
The restaurant was half full and we ordered two starters and two main courses.
After half an hour his starter arrived, mine arrived 5-10 minutes later…after another 20 minutes his main course arrived. I asked the waiters where my main course w but was given surprised glances and asked to be patient.
Once my son finished his main course I was ready to leave but just as I stood up and asked for the bill my main course arrived. This after 45 minutes to an hour?
I was really irritated and if they has any sense of respect to returning guests and after the sloppy service sombody could have offered us a coffee or dessert on the house.
A truly bad experience with sloppy service and disinterested staff, unfortunate…will not return.

Its cheap and the food is okay. I wouldn't make a point of returning. We had pani puri, dahi puri, samosas, ras malai and gulab jamun.
The pani puri and dahi puri were okay. The samosas were not very good. Its the first time I have had mashed potato in one- it does not taste the same. The gulab jamun was good and the ras malai was excellent.

Went for Fathers day dinner. Spent nearly rm700 for 10pax. Truly no value gor money as the portions were really small. Pricey. Tax alone came to nearly rm 100. Very expensive for vegetarians
