Nothing too unusual about this place and the dim sums are pretty much standard and up to expectation. The roast pork and char siew are very good. Like most Chinese restaturants these days, the waiting staff are mostly foreign workers so you get blank stares if you make any orders in Chinese.

A treat from a friend at Grand Palace Restaurant located on the Level 7 of The Pavilion, Jalan Bukit Bintang. There were 7 of us. The Pavilion Mall is directly opposite The Westin Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Nice clean comfortable restaurant serving Cantonese cuisine. Restaurant was packed during lunchtime. Waiters and waitress busy serving. Decided to order dim dum & half... More

Food was good. Best meal I had this week in KL. best part of the experience was the manager who gave good dining advice. Very accommodating and professional. Foreign wait staff tried hard to serve well. 👍👍

Were there for a wedding venue. Started quite disappointing. The wines and bubbles apported by the groom earlier on, were not even put into a fridge. At the appointed hour, tables stil had to be mended and adjusted to the planning. Food was ( as oiur Chinese table friends stated) was quite good.

We fancied a quick dim sum lunch over the CNY period (10th February ) only a handful of restaurants was open in the Pavilion. We noticed the Grand Palace as we walked towards the escalators and decided to go in as it did look grand from the outside. I was disappointed how the staff greeted us as we were chauffeured... Our adventure today with our young son to see the lion dance performance and dine at this sister outlet of Mutiara Palace at the luxurious Pavilion Mall left us much poorer in health and wealth at the end of the lunar year of the Unlucky Sheep! As usual we were early for dinner at 5:30pm and found service very limiting... More

Peking duck was below average and oozed fat. Vermicelli cooked with duck meat turned out flavourless and stringy. Better choice might have been fried rice with the meat. No one changed our wet pates for building the wraps, nor refilled our tea although restaurant was only one third full. Indifferent maitre-D and unfriendly service staff at a supposedly posher location.... More

Just a quick stop for afternoon Dim Sum in between shopping, but pleasantly surprised. Great quality Siu Mai and lovely fresh Char Siu Bao's!

So awesome we have to order additional 2 more servings! The rest of the food was good too. We did not order duck meals because one of my colleagues didn't liked it. The restaurant setting was more of a fine dining.
