I enjoyed my Pie dish in Cafe Magpie. It has live lobsters and I ordered a pie which was cooked in two different style. The pie was also good. Nice place to have a quiet dinner.

This place is the worst in Kuala Lumpur by far!!! The food is just disgusting and the lady owner / manager really does not care. I actually went into the Magpie twice (Yeah, i know i am a slow learner!!!). The first time the salmon was not cooked on the inside and when we complained, they were very unhappy with... More

The food there is just average (which there have 3 set lunch to choose). We went there during lunch hour, quite many people also and no need to wait so long because we were there early than other people. Their boss is a foreigner, he is very friendly and nice.

My wife and I travel to KL on business frequently and have eaten in many different venues in the city. This reseraunt is, in our opinion, the best we have experienced. The black & white decor is tasteful, the ambience is very good. The waitng staff are attentive without been intrusive and the food is superb. I would whole heartedly... More

Ate here today. We are an English couple, where I am more adventurous with food than my husband. So this suited us perfectly for lunch. I had Tom Yam and my husband had beef pie and chips. Friendly helpful service too.

Visited this cafe after walking past and noticing the lovely decor, was pleasantly surprised when I noticed the price of the specials and the buckets of beer (40 RM -very reasonable). The 3 course special was just over 20RM so one of each special was ordered for me and my partner. When the food arrived we couldn’t of been happier,... More

I visited KL recently from Newcastle and found Café Magpie just the taste from home that I needed. The food was fantastic, very tasty and good value – so much so that I went back several times to try the pies, oxtail casserole, chilli hotdog and proper chips! The juices were also delicious [try the pure Mango juice which isn’t... More
