Last I visited this place was over 20 years ago where the stalls are run by local Malaysian . The food now is cook by foreigners that does not provide the authentic Malaysian type of food . I tried the satay and KL Hokkien mee. Both are total disappointment . The stall owners can't even converse in Cantonese , proper... More

Jalan Alor is going through a face lift and will be a food street with Al Fresco dining. We still go back to WAW for our BBQ chicken wing which is now selling at RM10 per piece and Sting ray which still taste as good. WAW have now expanded to 4 units so you can imagine how profitable a business... More

We stumbled across this on our first night in KL. There are a huge variety of restaurants to choose from. It can be overwhelming when you arrive as the people in the restaurant will try to persuade you to try their food and will push their menus at you. I would recommend to walk through and look at all restaurants... More

The place to go for street food in KL, Brickfields for an Indian meal if you dare! Both are only a few monorail stops between the 2 places. An experience to savour .

1st year staying KL, I still came and tried few for the hype of this place. Chicken wings, seafood lok-lok / grilled taste ok, but pricey. Few others I tried, still not impressed with the taste and price. Fish porridge (at junction entrance in front of durian seller) is nice; big portion can be shared for 2 or 3 persons.... More

Jalan Alor is a very busy food street with no fuss service or seating but incredible food and cold beer. Atmosphere is great with hundreds of other people sharing meals around you. Don't expect your food to come all at the same time. Prices are cheap to average but I think it's a must visit even if you just walk... More

Ok, if you want food stalls and great food, this is the place. The road is stretches for ages and is full of food joints full of local delicacies. Try to not pig out on the first stalls, there will be many others! The coconut ice cream is particularly delicious.

Not the street food I was expecting, largely a place to sit down to eat. A selection of Indonesian, Malaysian, Thai and Indian food. Plenty of choice!! Food wasn't that cheap compared to near by, beer about £6 a large bottle... Busy atmosphere, get ready to be hassled into places! Worth a visit!

Was expecting classic street food, where you could grab little bites and wander around. Mostly this was sit down only. The dim sum was a delicious exception. We sat for a pleasant cold beer and shrimp at Brothers, the shrimp was quite good. So worth a trip to see.
