Ok, if you want food stalls and great food, this is the place. The road is stretches for ages and is full of food joints full of local delicacies. Try to not pig out on the first stalls, there will be many others! The coconut ice cream is particularly delicious.

Not the street food I was expecting, largely a place to sit down to eat. A selection of Indonesian, Malaysian, Thai and Indian food. Plenty of choice!! Food wasn't that cheap compared to near by, beer about £6 a large bottle... Busy atmosphere, get ready to be hassled into places! Worth a visit!

Was expecting classic street food, where you could grab little bites and wander around. Mostly this was sit down only. The dim sum was a delicious exception. We sat for a pleasant cold beer and shrimp at Brothers, the shrimp was quite good. So worth a trip to see.

Jalan Alor is by far the most famous street in KL for alfresco street food, albiet more touristy than most. You get lots of options here, from street food, seafood, Malay food, etc. It can be difficult to make a choice as there are plenty of stalls. Be careful though, pickpockets and thieves operate in this area frequently and hygiene... More

Very nice area to browse for food. Has everything you associate Asian food with bar sushi. Nice atmosphere and vibe to it. A must for "foodies" though I suspect they'd be nitpicking the health and safety aspects of certain stalls!

This is a great outdoor place if you like Chinese or Malay food. You order and eat outdoors, extremely hot, even in the evening. Unfortunately for us, neither kids nor us like this type of food, so it wasn't for us. The smells of seafood put the kids off and they didn't find it clean, as it's not what they... More

always crowded and mostly sell the same type of foods. there are a lot of tourists here and that could be the reason why the foods are overpriced. there are definitley better places to eat in kuala lumpur.

Go sit. Soak up the busyness the vibrancy the loudness then eat and enjoy the explosion of taste. We are here every night at a different restaurants and would always finish with a local beer just soaking it up. Go
