I got shocked when i was served black coffee with milky foam on top, its not a float just thats how they serve their coffee, and it tasted good. A long wait for the food, maybe its due to the QC, but the food is nice.

I don't want to ruin the surprise element of finding this superb restaurant at the back of China town in a practically deserted street, but they deserve the accolade. We were staying in the hostel next door and needed to eat fast. We pushed open the saloon style doors and my jaw just dropped. Genuinely colonial old style with mirrors,... More

My wife and I had lunch here as part of a private tour around Kuala Lumpur. The service was great - quick, but personal. We were presented a 3-course selection of different signature dishes, arguably the best meal on our visit.

Good place to take visitors for charming ambiance in Chinatown vicinity. Not sure about the food, for which there are way better restaurants. A bit basic and not flavourful like Peranakan should be. The salted veg soup was salty and watered down without the rich duck stock I am used to from Mum's cooking. Many other places to try again.... More

A interesting environment if you like to look at antique photos and items. Food is a bit pricey though. However there are some interesting food and beverage for a diner to explore if you do not mind the price. If you like spicy food there are plenty of choices.

Recommended by Lonely P and TripA we went and were a bit disappointed, bit pricey, fast tourist change oriented. The seafood kari was nice but my wife waited for her meal 15 min longer and forgot to prepare one dish. Moreover her Fried Calamari were very dry. Service was not very polite and we had a feeling they wanna close... More

Tasty tourist Chinese food in reconstructed Chinese decor. Very interesting to look around and see the antique photos and items. Go upstairs and check out washrooms and wander into the storage room, filled will antiques.

A lovely small restaurant on the edge of China. Town serving really good local food, plenty of menu choices and friendly, efficient service; perfect for lunch!

Laksa was so good, surprised myself by scooping every last spoonful of its contents. The dominant difference between this and Singapore's laksa would have to be the more generous additions of coconut milk, which doused the spice a little (just the way I like it - I'm terrible with chili). The interior of the café was also beautifully reminiscent of... More
