We had chicken wings, Brinjal, steamed sea bass with sweet and sour sauce and rice. The service was good and the food fresh and delicious. Nicely tucked away from the noisy China town streets too.

I had a dinner with my girlfriend on Valentine 2017 in this restaurant. We ordered: 1> Appetizers: Jujuchar (vege wrap vege) and stuffed tofu 2> Main dishes: Steam fish with soy sauce, honeyed pork ribs & stir fried vegetables 3> Rice: Famous coconut rice 4> Dessert: Sago with gula Malaka Foods ordered were tasty. I extremely satisfied with the foods... More

Food was good, but the service was soooooooo bad. We waited for a long time for a table for two, but the waiters just said that three tables were booked, so we had to share a table with a family. Three tables remained empty for the duration of our time at the restaurant and despite asking the waiter multiple times... More

We waited in line to get a seat as the restaurant was busy. We had a lady, who arrived after us, get seated before, taking a table for two people. We told the waiter who didn't seem to care. Good start. We then got seated at a large table and had to share with a group of four, this was... More

We went here with our guide, Jeremy Mak, who is a definite foodie while visiting KL. The Cafe is pretty unassuming in character and quite clearly showing its physical age. The decor is a serious scene settler with images of old Chinatown. Similarly with fixtures and decorations. So one cafe, with older decorations, looks like it has paid it's dues.... More

Been here twice, both meals were absolutely delicious. Wonderful setting. Super crowded for lunch which makes the service slow. They'd do well with one or two less tables.

Great 'old-world' charm this is well worth a visit. Service was friendly and the food was good, especially the deep-fried anchovies starter which was a revelation. House wine was reasonably priced and drinkable. Recommend it

Excellent food but it was quite busy and had to wait quite a while to be served. The beef rendang was outstanding and the Malaka speciality dish (the exact name escapes me) was also outstanding.

Food was awesome (probably one of the best meals from our two week Malaysia trip). Staff were friendly. Prices reasonable. A definite must do meal option.

Mid size restaurant serving Straits Chinese food close to Petaling Street market. Prices are reasonable. Restaurant was busy at lunch time.
