Annalakshmi is Best South Indian (Authentic) Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. There are lost of South Indian "Restorans" - however they are far away from being authentic. Annalakshmi Sambhar and Chutneys are great. One has a choice of Buffet or A'La'Carte - Buffet is around RM 18. The service is very good...you are served with Warmth.

I´ve been their patron since their early days before they moved to the current location. The food is absolutely lovely, I would recommend lunch rather than dinner. Dinner time tends to be a little quieter and I found the lunch variety more appealing as well. You would be supporting a really good cause as their profits fund youth wanting to... More

The restaurant is tastefully decorated and provides pleasant service. The food is generally reasonably-priced and quite nice, but their weekend lunch buffet is the best. Simply the most delicious south Indian vegetarian buffet I have ever had! Plus by eating here you also get to support the Temple of Fine Arts.

On 9 April 2016 I was at this horribly serviced restaurant with my family. We were very irritated with the chappathis arriving at the time of paying the bill! I then requested that they be packed but was told that it is not possibe for buffet. Fine but I told the waiter its not my fault that it arrived late... More

My title sums it up. Very expensive for what you get....18rm per person for lunch for overrated food. Aircon was basically non existent. I have better food at home. The dhal, however, was very good. Everything else was not bad, just average. I expect excellence for 18rm for a vegetarian lunch.....I got average.

This place is close to KL Sentral but a little hard to find. The trip there was fully worth it. The buffet was the best we had in KL. The staff were also very friendly.

There is a small restaurant in the basement of the temple which serves buffet vegeterain food. Take what you want and pay what you wish. A portion of the amount as known by me goes for the well-being of poor families. Very nice initiative.

the location is a little difficult to find and a bit out of the way. But the food, ambiance and experience compensate for it. Very good veg food.
