I took my family to this restaurant for lunch. The staff were very accomodating to the children in a really upmarket venue located at the Mandarin Oriental. The restaurant is located next to the Twin Towers so would make an excellent stop before or after the trip. The food was delicious - make sure you try the steamed custard buns.

Could not fault the quality of the food and service . Possibly the best duck we have ever eaten (half duck starter) , and the prawns and scallops in the mains again were excellent. Will return here on our next visit .

Lai Po Heen is situated in the gorgeous Mandarin Oriental hotel in the center of Kuala Lumpur. It's one of the best if not the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Not so easy to get a table, think to book in advance. All that we ate, was great! Expensive! Suitable for a special occasion.

Good dining atmosphere with beautiful elegant setting Chinese restaurant. The open kitchen concept showcase the sanitary processes. I spent my Saturday brunch for dim sum here. Staffs were attentive to our needs and food are served fast. Steamed cod fish with scallop dumpling is yummy and Steamed prawn dumplings are really pleasing to the eyes, especially the gold luxurious touch... More

When you first enter, service is welcoming. Food is lovely. However the experience we had wasn't great value for money. Shame really as it was meal we were really looking forward to. Could just be we were unlucky?

The restaurant's atmosphere was good with a pleasant view if you are seated near the window. The dishes, well, up to the required standard with lots of variety, only if you know what to orders...try the dim sum where you could have more variety of smaller portions...If you are staying at the hotel, this is a must visit restaurant.
