One of the best places in town for a late dinner. Delicious food, don't be afraid to try the lemon ramen - it's amazing stuff. Ask for the English picture menu if you haven't got a Japanese-speaking friend with you. The kitchen staff are always shouting happily - very lively atmosphere.

The ramen served at Menya is absolutely delicious. Please go there with an empty stomach and choose the "all-in-one"-ramen bowl... You won't regret it. The staff is super friendly and I cannot think of any place which offers such great food for just 950 yen...

I was living in this area for about 2 months, and I visited this place twice a week. I've been to a lot of ramen shops but this truly was one of the best. The staff there are super friendly and always made us feel welcome. You will not regret getting the ramen here!

The ramen here is cheap and very very good. I tried another recommended place nearby the night before and could not even compare it to Menya.

Wanted some noodles on our cruise port stop in Nagasaki, and stumbled across Menya Always. The staff was very helpful, the food good. The beer, excellent! Nice ambiance, This is not a tourist place, but were very welcoming to us!

We had a very brief visit to Nagasaki on our Asian cruise, and the one thing I wanted was a great bowl of ramen. Menya Always did not disappoint. We had the spicy pork ramen which was only about $6 USD. The broth was incredibly rich and tasty. The pork was mostly fat which I tried to nibble around, but... More

Had a quick bowl of ramen while aimlessly wandering through the never ending outdoor mall. Liked the intimate cozy feel of the place with everyone sitting on the one counter. The ramen was tasty but seemed fairly standard for the area - it was a bit annoying finding out they strongly catered towards tourists with water instead of tea and... More

This Ramen shop made our day! Very intense and tasty broth, We loved this ramen! gyoza and pork rice sides are also fantastic (we've tried many gyoza, these were the best), good prices and very cute staff! We've also tried the Nagasaki signatures Champon and Sara Udon at other places, as we thought thus is a must when u're in... More

Nagasaki was our only Japan port while cruising Asia and we wanted to experience traditional Ramen Soup. Menya Always did not disappoint. We had no problems finding it and when we did the small restaurant was packed! However one of the cooks came out to let us know that he could get us a table shortly and would take our... More

Currently very popular online, Menya Always is a ramen shop that has been around about 3 years. Usually a queue out the front around lunch time (even 3 pm!), this place is totally worth the wait. The ton (pork) ramen, which is their specialty, was absoloutly delicious. I think the quality of the meat is perhaps what makes the difference,... More
