We loved this place. The portion was very generous and our total bill was less than 5000 yen. If we had that much back home the bill would have been surely more than double. The quality of ingredients were so fresh and good. We saw lots of locals coming to dine which we appreciated. The restaurant had a great zen... More

I ordered most probably the cheapest menu(US$11.50) which is a set of their specialities i.e. a savory steamed egg custard with assorted ingredients and a sushi rice . the former was very tasty and the best among similar dishes I have eaten so far but the latter was so so. Anyway It is nice to eat those dishes in a... More

We went with a Japanese friend who recommended the dishes to try. I had seen the custard like dishes before but not being a lover of custard had not been tempted. What a treat I have been missing the savoury custard is hard to describe but is scrumptious. A real taste sensation

Please be reminded that this is a very popular restaurant in Nagasaki and you probably need to wait in line before being seated. We arrived around13:30 and there were still quite a few people waiting outside. Luckily we only waited for roughly half an hour, for it was when the tables turned over. We both ordered the signature set, which... More

We had intended to lunch at Garçon Ken but when we got there at 1.45pm, it had run out. So we headed to Yossou instead - fortunately it did not disappoint in terms of taste. Service was good even though the place was still packed at 2pm.

The reason I wanted to go here is because of their pink-yellow-brown dish that looks so quirky but I ended up ordering a set without it, although my partner took it in his set lunch. Turns out it's only some rice toppings but the rest of the food was great! Good quality sashimi, tender yummy pork and other goodies. Long... More

Chawanmushi is the thing that I've never had before. and it was great. I recommend 2nd floor. More intimate, I think.

One of the best choices in nagasaki. IT is not a big city. You cannot compare the resraurants with those in tokyo. It is good enough to enjoy japanese food.

If you like chawamushi, this is the place to go to. Ask for the 1st floor. Other food is so-so and prices are on the high side.

Unusual tcawan musi, with larger than usual bowls, The sasimi is also good. Like everything else in Nagasaki, it closes early, so make your reservations for 6:00 or 6:30 for dinner.
