It is one of the most popular crab restaurants in Japan. There are other many crab restaurants in Hokkaido but not in Osaka. I visited this restaurant almost every time I am in Osaka. Two things to bear in mind. First, I took about three hours in the wait line. So, I went there in the afternoon and they gave... More

We were recommended a hairy crab which cost ¥97000 which is absolutely not worth the money. We had a few snow crab & king crab legs for ¥15-17000. Which was reasonable. The service was below par (maybe we were foreigners). We were not given the proper tools for digging out the crab meat and tea was not refill. (We had... More

Expensive restaurant but you get high quality crab done about 10 different ways. The Shabu shabu was nice. My children love crab and they had a feast. The meals comes at a price. They meals go as high as 9000yen per head. The lowest price set is about 6000 yen I think-- so you get the idea Also the place... More

Got to the crab at 1800pm on 28dec. Got a ticket for 2020pm. Walk around, shop around the area. Arrive to the crab again at 2000pm. Let us in at 2015pm. Sat on 3rd floor. Ordered two sets, some a la carte some sushi and some sashimi. Food is same as twenty years ago. Just different combinations. After dinner ,... More

One of our must visit places in Osaka. We love the freshness and sweetness of the crab cooked in every way. Must try the sets which ends with their signature rice porridge cooked in the hotpot broth... mouthwateringly delicious! Another must try is their signature crab sake... smooth, hot and potent! Yummy!

I visited the Esaka branch due to proximity, we booked ahead of time as the restaurant is very popular especially in the month of Dec where the crab season. There were many courses of meal and we closed a 9 course meal cost about 8000 yen. Very fresh, tasty and come with crab sashimi. If you like crab sashimi ,... More

Booked the restaurant online through their web page weeks before visiting Osaka - highly recommended to book or be prepared to wait in the queue for your turn. It's also kind of hard to miss their signature giant crab sign/statue in front of the store. The prices here are on the high side, so you might want to keep in... More

Didn't expect the food to be this great at great value! We had a JPY8k set each and couldn't have asked for better style or size. We had a nice window view of the ebisu bridge as well and the staff were very nice. Would definitely come back - booking is very difficult and most people were waiting out in... More

First of all, there are 3 outlets in Dotonburi so don't give up if you can't get a table in the original location. When we were there, the first one was fully booked so they asked as to try another outlet down the road. We tried king crabs and snow crabs served in sashimi style and boiled. It came with... More

We visited this place 13 years ago and just had to come back. It was certainly a yummlicious crab feast. We had chilled crab, grilled crab, steamboat crab, sashimi crab, crab porridge, crab rice (in a claypot), crab gratin & crab roe. Simply awesome. Service was fantastic too, just as we remembered it 13 years ago. After our meal, we... More
