This is bar far the best sushi I have had. The quality and service of this restaurant is exceptional. There are not many seats so a reservation is recommended if traveling with 2+ people. Worth seeking out when in Kyoto for amazing sushi!

We had a great sashimi lunch! It was delicious and fresh! We had a sake tasting plate as well, which was delicious! English menu available, with pictures. Our host spoke very good English and was very helpful!
