Lackluster staff attitude, and they won’t accept credit cards for charges less than 5000 yen. That’s too much even at 1000 to 1200 yen per beer. At least show some sheepishness about this outrage. Bartender needs a lesson on how to pour a full beer....Pizza is passable. But avoid this place if possible.More

My wife and me dropped in here to slake our thirst during a long day exploring Kyoto. Attracted as much by the name as anything, but enjoyed a fine pit-stop. Staff were attentive and friendly and the pub seemed to stock a fair selection of...beers and ales. Not very Japanese but I guess that is the point :-)More

Relaxing pub with a friendly atmosphere, centrally located. Good selection of both bottled and draught beers as well as cocktails. They have a delicious gin distilled in Kyoto. Good food as well.

As an english girl I found this place really authentic. After sightseeing all day I was glad to sit down, relax and eat good old solid fish and chips. The tartar sauce was amazing too. I also tried the Japanese beer Sapporo, it was light and...easy to drink. Thanks to the staff too who were really friendly and spoke English. I will defy go back again while I'm still in Kyoto. Highly recommend for good food, beer and friendly vibes.More

The appearance is an atmosphere called a stylish British street corner. The interior decoration uses the wall paper of the direct import in U.K. and it is very solid and is wonderful. The appearance is an atmosphere called a stylish...British street corner. The interior decoration uses the wall paper of the direct import in U.K. and it is very solid and is wonderful. It is easy to use the substantial amount to take off for a work return and a shopping return alone. It is good to drink between 4-5 friends happily. The second floor is the shop which is usable in the second meetings of the wedding ceremony because We can do it for reservations. There are more foreign countries and are only the which the staffs are very friendly, and is good. The pig and whistle of the sisters shop is recommended in a wonderful shop.More

Cozy little bar off the main streets, mostly locals but also quite a lot of turists... decent selection of beer (limited special beers like IPA, stouts, porter etc.) and whiskeys (both Irish, Japanese and bourbons)...

Great little gem of a restaurant/pub off the beaten path of Kyoto. Great service from Henry, Naoya and chef Dan. Drinks were yummy, food delicious and enjoyed some tenor sax played by a talented young lady. Definitely recommend as it recently opened and not too..."touristy" just yet!! 🙌🏼🎎⛩More

Amazing pub, great staff. Chef made incredible impromptu meal. The neighborhood is quiet and the bar is full of locals . Henry the bartender has wonderful advice and recommendations. Talented jazz band was playing, highly recommended by a couple of adventurous American travelers !
