If you want to get some vegetables or family taste during the trip, you must try this restaurant! This is the all-you-eat type restaurant. All the dishes are made of Kyoto vegetables (which called “Kyo-yasai “). Nice service!
Great place to have dinner or lunch, the ladies are very nice and the food is really good, all is homemade and there is plenty of choice : many cooked veggetables, soup, noodles, tofu and meat cooked in a japanese style, japanese curry... We recommand...100% !More
Seeing the food before having little taste and going back (several times) to get more of the food that was most appealing. You buy a ticket for the buffet and other options at the vending machine at the entrance. One of the options is "All...you can drink including alcohol" for Y980. I guess they may want to change this option when the rugby fans find this place :-)More
Most dishes are veggies so it was a good balance for travelling, when you tend to consume less vegetables 😝
They still serve few meat dishes so it's not a vegan restaurant. Veggies are fresh and cooked in a Japanese mom-style way, quite a different...kind of feeling from those restaurants tailored to tourists. Weekday dinner all you can eat is ¥1370 per person. Soft drink bar is ¥300 per person. They open til 23:00. Would definitely recommend it to Kyoto visitors.
The place has three locations around Kyoto and this one, near the station, was really convenient for us.
Nice choiche of vegetables, side dishes and the possibility to order nabe or shabu shabu.
We are not vegetarian or vegan but there were a lot of...vegetarian and vegan options, if someone is looking for them.
Some tables are japanese style, very convenient for families with small children, like us.More
Everything is so fresh! (straight from their farm) and TASTY. We left feeling very satisfied. I would highly recommend the fresh salads and home made dressings. Delicious! It makes a nice change from the normal Japanese food. There is lots of space and the price...is like nothing else you'll find in the area. Well worth it. She closes at 10am so don't be late.More

Shimogyo-ku is centered around the busy train hub, Kyoto Station. A nexus for commerce, shopping, dining, and hotels, the Shimogyo-ku area is infused with tourists and local business travelers, making it a competitive location for ever-new commercial structures. The shops and cafes here are chic and trendy, as a result, with many recognizable chains. Commuters flood the Shimogyo-ku area twice a day, and
with Kyoto Station itself being a modern mega-complex and an architectural marvel, this neighborhood is one of the most contemporary and energetic areas that the city has to offer. Buildings here look futuristic, and huge department stores, shopping arcades, and public meeting spaces provide every possible convenience. It is also nearly the only place in Kyoto where rooftop dining and socializing is available, completing its modern tone.
