Such a great place to have Japanese BBQ!! The price is so reasonable for the quality of the meat you get. I consider it a steal. We requested to have seats right by the window and the view is amazing. I made the reservation on...their website by coping and pasting the translation from Google translate, and the restaurant responded very quickly and confirmed our reservation. Will definitely go again.More

My wife and I squeezed in a four day vacation to Kyoto and really enjoyed the entire experience! This restaurant provided excellent, unobtrusive service in an authentic "old Japan" atmosphere. We were very impressed with the quality of the beef, in particular, but food was...superior overall. We recommend Yakiniku Hiro unreservedly!More

There are many original menu using Kyoto wagyu. And the quality of beef are in good catagory, however the sauce is not good enough to say it’s great. The budget is affordable but not enough to say its great. If we are asked to go there...again I say we will sometime in the future. There are so many great impressive Yakiniku restaurants all over and after I try others we may come back again.More

The quality of meat was excellent. Very clean place. Polite and kind staff. Fair prices (7000¥ for two persons plate of mixed meat, high quality).

This place is the real deal and DELICIOUS! It's attached to the butcher shop so the beef is the best! I've seriously never had better beefThere are little grills on the tables so you order and grill your own dinner, There are lots of side...dishes to choose from. we enjoyed the vegetable and the sizzling rice. You take off your shoes at the door and the waitresses do LOTS of bowing hile serving so it's and experience as well as a dinner. This was one of our favorite restaurants in our two weeks of travel. It was recommended be our hotel. Go there, if you like beef you will not be disappointed.More

Family visit with 3 kids, where our oldest wanted a beef dinner. Having beef Japanese style was entertaining for all. The beef was very tender and taste was great. The only downside was perhaps the portions, which were kind of small. We compensated by some...extra orders, with corresponding impact to the bill.More

Great and beautiful restaurant. The food was spectacular and fresh - the meat cuts were really good and the fried rice outstanding. The service was awesome too. Really great place - highly recommend.

Amazing Yakiniku (table grill), with Hida beef in Sanjo Street (Kyoto). Very nice service in a nicely designed restaurant

Great food and decent prices for quality wagyu beef. Only downside is smoking amongst diners that spoilt the environment and taste of the food. The raw beef with egg yolk super yummy!

We ordered the 6000/pp set and very happy with it. The meat are very juicy and the marinate is good. No need to dunk it in the sauce. The service is very prompt.
