Sure, you most likely have to wait about 15 to 30 minutes to get your soup, but its totaly worth it! There is a lot of meat in the soup. Try it!

There's a huge line at all times, but you'll notice it's only locals, not a tourist hotspot at all which makes it even better. Menu options are limited, if you don't enjoy ramen, you will not have a good time. Super cheap as well.

The ramen was so good and so tasty! Really recommended, so far the best ramen i've ever had in my Japan trip. And the vibe was so dope! Worth the long wait.

In our opinion, the beat Ramen in our trip in Japan... Also the giozas was great! And the price very good. You have to wait for table, but it's a little pain when you try the food.

We enjoyed our short visit. It was good food and a quick service for a very affordable price. We waited outside for 10-15 minutes. It was worth it.

Came here with 5 people in June. Amazing food, definitely recommend for a cheap eat. Beware that it gets really popular after 11:30! Best to go for an early lunch.

I was also leading me of the previous comments. I had been in Japan for 10 days, eating wonderfully in many places. I was intrigued by the "best Ramen" and kept the queue corresponding: more than 20 minutes despite having gone to the 19:30 hours...More

Shimogyo-ku is centered around the busy train hub,
Kyoto Station. A nexus for commerce, shopping, dining,
and hotels, the Shimogyo-ku area is infused with
tourists and local business travelers, making it a
competitive location for ever-new commercial
structures. The shops and cafes here are chic and
trendy, as a result, with many recognizable chains.

Traditional ramen shops usually do not have vegetarian versions of their house specialties. Since they rely heavily on their broths - most of which are based on pork, chicken, sometimes beef, fish or a combination. I don't... More
