We came across this restaurant after riding he Philosopher's Walk. We thought the place was very good. The service was great and the food was very tasty. The prices were fine compared with other Italian restaurants in Kyoto. Well worth the stop.

After two weeks in Japan we were tired of noodles and rice and went to this alfresco style Italian restaurant. The service was polite and the food was tasty and fresh. On the path to Jisho-ji temple, a fair Italian with a nice garden. We asked the bolognese spaghetti and the pasta was on the correct texture, though the sauce could come with greater amount of beef. Fair prices, accepts credit card.

I agree wholeheartedly with the other review. This place is a tourist trap, pure and simple. We ordered a pizza. It cost 1800 yen – about $18US. Ok. The place is down the street from one of the biggest tourist attractions in Japan. I understand it's gonna be expensive. But all the same, you might expect something more than what... More
