Itadakizen Kyoto is part of a big group that manage professionally different restaurant around the world and considering the huge investment for the place, the training of the staff and the marketing, they really can't go wrong! Very standard and easy to make food, but...i understand that for many tourist is the perfect place for vegan Japanese food in Kyoto.More

Excellent ramen. I got the creamy and it was delicious. I also tasted my friends soy ramen and honestly can’t chose a favorite. One of the better vegan ramen spots in Kyoto.

You don’t need to be vegan to like the food here. The food was so delicious, serving was large and the service good!

We visited this fantastic restaurant during our holiday to Japan. We had found other vegetarian/vegan restaurants on our trip but they all had a Western influence. We were hoping for a Japanese vegetarian restaurant and this met all our expectations. We had the set dinner...which was soooo good! 3 small appetisers, a choice of 2 mains including Korean pancakes, veg spring rolls or tofu steaks, rice and pickles. Every dish was excellent but especially the Korean pancakes and tofu steaks. We didn’t think we would find anywhere nicer so went back again. We were thrilled to find out that the original restaurant is in London so guess where we are going when we get home!More

Another gem of a place for vegetarians, hidden away from the main hub of Kyoto. Service was warm, friendly and very hospitable. Beer was great. Food was great. Decor is eclectic and charming and inoffensive; you feel like you’re over an old friends place for...dinner :)More

The restaurant is located down a small, cute street and has a very chilled ambience. The staff were lovely and spoke English. We had rice balls/sushi and ramen with a soy milk broth which all tasted amazing. Highly recommend and would definitely visit again!
