Staying in Sapporo after 4 months in Niseko, we decided to try some soup curry. Our favourite dish from the season, we were astounded how incredible Garuka was! The best soup curry we've had, amazing setting, great location and friendly staff. Ended up coming twice...on our 6 day stay! Will be coming backMore

Very unique curry soup. We ordered lamb curry, chicken curry, sausage and pork. I prefer the lamb and pork curry soup. Very different taste as compare Indian or Malay curry. Very long Q. But overall was good.

The food was okay by my standards, and my standards are average. There was a long queue of Chinese tourists, probably a 20min wait in line. Wanted to try the pork but sadly it was out of stock.

Long queue, but the curry dish is quite unique and well prepared. We went to the shop at 730pm and waited for about 40minutes to get a table, but food was served about 10minutes later which was quite fast. The curry is different from typical...Japanese curry, it is spicier. There were many ingredients in the dish and every ingredient was cooked optimally. We bought the curry pack back home for our family to tryMore

My first time trying soup curry and I immediately fell in love. We wanted to order the pork belly but it was sold out. I ordered the chicken leg and it was so soft and tasty. You can select the level of spicness and I...opted for level 5 and it was just right for my liking.More

Really tasty soup curry. Long queue to the underground joint. But we didn’t wait that long, probably 15 minutes max. We ordered the chicken leg and vegetable curry. The pork curry was either sold out or unavailable. Enjoyed the chicken leg curry the most. Still...thinking about the curry after one month.More

Having grown up in place where curry is accessible, is it still good? the answer is yes. Its missing that Indians style rich flavor but its is replace with fresh chunky vegetable and pork in a subtle flavored curry soup with Japanese style flavored rice....I am surprise the combination is goes very well. English menu is available. It's really suitable for my kid as she is not into very spicy stuffs. its definitely one of the dish everyone should try in Saporro.More

We were lucky to be in the first batch when it opened. When we came left, a long queue was snaking up the stairs and out into the cold. The place sits at most 40 people. We ordered a mild curry chicken leg for the...kids and ourselves the hot pork belly curry soup. We liked how they torched the broccoli; crispy burnt but not over done. The chicken leg was tender. However I find the pork belly a little tough even though it was as burnt just nicely. The rice was nice, not sure if it was butter rice or what. We like it and would probably come back but don't really think I'd queue this long in the cold...More
