You could trudge all over sapporo (which wouldn't be bad at all!), or you could just head over to the 10th floor of ESTA (above the JR train station) and have your choice of 8 awesome awesome ramen restaurants, lovingly recreated to look like an old-school ramen alley. You're totally spoiled for choice, and every single one of them is... More

Staying at the Century Royal Hotel, it was so convenient to go to sample the recommended Sapporo Ramen Kyowakoku on the 10th Floor in the ESTA building which is next to the JR Sapporo Station. With my wife we went twice to this place trying out the steaming hot Sapporo Ramen with four different tasty soup base. The choice of... More

The Ramen Kyowakoku is in a building next to the Sapporo JR station and it includes several Ramen restaurants. The setting of this place is old Japan so it is another good place to take pictures. We picked the Ramen restaurant with the most people waiting in queue (on that day) but overall I never hear anyone is not satisfied... More

Located in ESTA mall above sapporo train station (either level 10 or 11, can't remember) is a shopping belt for ramen. The variety is so wide that it is difficult to decide which stall to go. Went into one that serves spicy ramen and was blown away. The ramen texture was just right, chewy. The soup base will make you... More

Excellent place with a choice of 8 different ramen stores to feast on. Take the time to walk around the complex and check out the menus and choose one to your liking.

The 10th floor is dedicated to food and a large section was dedicated to ramen. Different kinds of ramen from were available from miso, salty to those with butter. Had 4 bowls of ramen at 1 store, the ramen range from average to good

Very nice alley in the middle of busy city. Food shops one next to other on the both side of narrow ramen alley but really nice. I like the atmosphere alot though almost every food shop is very very small, not good for a group of more than 10 to dine.

As everyone has pointed out - this is a floor with a series of shops - which can be overwhelming since they all have similar menus. The one we chose was good - but service was (by Japan standards) not very good and it was warm in there - not as much fun to eat ramen when you're sweating! The... More

The place is just in-front of Sapporo Station. Take the south exit from the station and you will see BIG CAMERA building. The place is located in the 10th floor of that building. The prices are reasonable and can have a variety of choices. Pick up the leaflet at the entrance and select what you like and then select the... More

Conveniently located next to JR Sapporo station in the ESTA building 10th level. There's a handy English menu brochure introducing the 8 stores. Doesn't come across as a tourist trap given that these are all established well known ramen stores just bought under one roof. Standard Ramen prices. We came here twice to try different varieties. Store no.4 Yoshiyama Shouten... More
