Our ramen was a little hard with salty soup base. We were hungry so it wasn't that bad. Also the chasu was acceptable. I got the spicy miso

Gosh, mu friends and I came here after seeing how good rated it was in TripAdvisor. It was number 6 out of more than 8.000. Well, the food was not good at all! The three of us left more than half the portion as we coudn't eat everything! In the menu the dish looked wonderful, but when it came it... More

Sapporo is famous for its ramen. This ramen 'street' is actually located on the 10th floor of the ESTA mall, which you can access easily from the JR Sapporo station. My family are ramen fans and I must confess that we really enjoyed the ramen there. There are around 10 stalls on this 'street' and while we have only tried... More

First time to try the famous miso ramen from Hokkaido. They grilled pork is very different from the other ramen and taste much better! Have tried a few other miso ramens throughout the two weeks in hokkaido but this is the best miso ramen so far ! They have around 10 ramen shops in the ramen republic and took me... More

Sapporo Ramen Republic is a collection of ramen stalls in one place. It is located at 10F of ESTA. You will be spoilt for choice here. I think there are 8 stalls here. Honestly, I had no idea which stall to go for. We did what travellers usually did - just follow the crowd! So we ended up at one... More

If you have been to the Ramen Stadium in Fukuoka, this is a similar concept that's quite common in Japan. You basically have about ten or more ramen restaurants all nestled under one roof, and next to each other. Sometimes it's difficult to pick the good from the mediocre ones. Observing the local crowd is your best bet! And this... More

A quick place for ramen if you are at Sapporo Station. Many choices to choose from. Can also shop at the various shops at lower floors when you are there.

It so happened that this was the first bowl of ramen for me, at the start of two months touring Japan, and although many more followed elsewhere, nowhere could match the delight of this ramen. When you reach the 10th floor of the Esta Building, which is a structure alongside but not connected to the huge Sapporo railway station which... More
