Some of the best sushi I have ever had in my life, period. The fish was incredible, the preparation was spot on, and the service was pretty good for Japan. We came in after a long day of skiing and we gorged on just about everything on the menu and it was a feast to remember. I will definitely be... More

It's a great restaurant with good sashimi and sushi. Price very reasonable and nice environment. Service is also excellent. Reason I didn't give the excellent grade is because of communication problem. One of the reason seating at the sushi bar is to talk to the sushi chef and chat about the food . And obviously I could do that. The... More

My first visit to sushi zen. I heard this name because the famous Japanese chef Sase in Hong Kong was the student from this restaurant. Omakase started at ¥27000 which is a reasonable price compared to Hong Kong. The chef could speak English and the food was more than we could finish. Sushi and sashimi were fresh and tasty. I... Probably one of the best sushi places I've tried in Japan. Get the Omakase, the Uni and the Toro were amazing. Super worth it! Definitely one of the reasons to visit Sapporo.

I went to the Suskino branch in South 7 west 4 block in Sapporo. Second year in a row. Such amazing quality sushi. Try the kinki. Also the scallops hotate and the uni sea urchin.

We were told that this is one of the best sushi restaurant in Sapporo. With 2 stars Michelin, we definitely had our hopes up, but it didn't fail us. Sushi / sashimi were made on spot by the chef, whole dining experience was amazing! The cheapest set on menu was about 9000 yen and we ordered the 16000 yen dinner... More

Everything is finely done with precision. The dining experience is wonderful. It's not cheap but the quality is good.

It was for the first time Hokkaido has 4 restaurant wining the coveted 3 Stars Michellin award. As usual last minute reservation was totally impossible for group of 10, perhaps two they can squeeze in on waiting list as my friend did. Hence, we settled for the 2 stars Sushizen - they have 4 outlets. It was truly an unforgetable... More

I heard that this restaurant is THE best sushi restaurant in Sapporo, but it definitely is NOT up to my expectation. Ants were running on the sushi bar. Ants were in miso soup. Sushi zen might have a good history and got many awards, but I really don't think it is up to its name.
