Was going around Daimaru looking for a lunch location when we chanced upon this buffet restaurant which had a long queue outside even before it had opened. The buffet had great variety - you can check out the menu at the entrance - for a rather unbeatable price of about USD20 with a time limit of 90 minutes. There is,... More

The Daimaru buffet served very ordinary selections, nothing memorably yummy for us. For the hungry it was a very filling buffet, but the gourmet in me can only shrug and eat quietly. They were understaffed too and plates were left on the tables for a good while. I am sure this is one place I wont ever return to in... More

Good variety of food. The Chinese food is so so but good choice of Japanese food with freshly made tempura and sushi. The desert collection is good. Not exactly gourmet but good after a whole day of skiing and is convenient

Really excellent food, with huge range. Deserts really floored us with excellent cheese cake, and angel cake. Italian section very good and I love Japanese pizzas with such fresh ingredients and thin pastry. Booked for evening as well sitting at the large windows overlooking snow covered buildings at night was beautiful. Free flowing drinks at about A$20 was very good... More

This restaurant is always crowded with mainly Japanese folk who I assume go there for the cheap prices and all you can eat format. Food quality is surprising low and probably the worst we experienced amongst the many Japanese restaurant we have visited. Dishes are mainly western / chinese - most hot dishes were under seasoned, overcooked and luke-warm. One... More

Despite the long queues at this buffet located on the 8th floor of the Daimaru shopping centre (possibly indicating a good buffet), the food was disappointing. You have 90 minutes for the buffet and it costs 1490 JPY (around SGD$19). It might look pretty appealing at first- till you realise that there is neither quality nor quantity. There were different... Worth it if you're absolutely keen on stuffing your face on Western, Japanese and Chinese dishes. Otherwise, you'll have a better meal at any of the non-buffet restaurants on the same floor in Daimaru Department Store or in the Stella Dining arcade on the 6th floor between Daimaru and Bic Camera.

The food bounced around between indelible and disgusting. The Italian food was horrible. the Chinese food was disgusting-- no other word for it; Panda Express would be far more desirable . No idea what most of that mess was--tasted terrible. The "Main Course"s looked too bad to try. The only things edible were the Japanese food. I really enjoyed the... More

Lots of food, not too cheap but close to the Sapporo Station.
