We had two meals in Jin Sha restaurant and both were fantastic! The Wild Eel is so fresh and so rich in flavours. The crab-meat with minced pork bun is unique! I love the Xiao Long Bao - fresh, tasty, good balance of sauce and meat. The flavours 'burst' in your mouth - you will have to take the whole... More

Our party had an elegant dim sum lunch at Jin Sha during our recent trip to Hangzhou. The setting of the restaurant in the Four Seasons Hotel adds an ambiance of understated sophistication to the experience. The dim sum that we ordered were all beautifully presented and the taste was superb. Attention to detail was evident, although those with a... More

Staying at Four Seasons and booked for dinner here. The staffs were very friendly and gave excellent recommendation for the dishes. The foods are extra-ordinary and fairly price for luxury restaurant. Would recommend the place for sure for anybody looking for top notch Chinese restaurant.

When I sat down, I was served by a waitress who was pushing some grotesquely expensive dishes. But, miraculously, a different waiter took over. He suggested that one dish could be served as a half dish (he said it was too much food) and he dissuaded me from ordering the over-priced beggars chicken. In the end, I had a pretty... More

Menu is a nice mix of local and traditional Chinese dishes. Service is friendly and fast. Food was delicious albeit small portions. The crispy duck was suberb. It does come with a price.

We came back after one positive experience last year and this place is still fantastic. There is no compromise on the environment or the service. You get what you pay for. We had the pork pyramid again which shouldnt be missed. The dessert was probably the best off all what we got. Seafood fried rice was very average and dry-... More

Overall this is a very good and authentic restaurant that specializes in Hangzhou and Shanghai cuisine. Food from ala-carte menu is generally impressive, good taste, good portion. Dim Sum, however, is rather pricey and disappointing. Try to avoid Dim Sum and order dishes from the main menu.

Set for fine dining, Jin Sha is a place worth visiting once given the price of a meal. The simplest of dishes starts from RMB78 and above and wines are sold by the bottles. Our total bill came up to RMB900 for 3 dishes, and 2 desserts along with 2 bowls of rice and a pot of Dragon Well Tea.... More

It was Father's Day. For sure, without making reservation, it was hardly to have a table for seven of us. We tried to have a most remarkable meal before leaving Hangzhou after five days here. The service was very good. The food was excellent although we ordered the most common choices on the list. The food has demonstrated the characteristics... More
