Located on that crazily busy Muslim street. Besides the tangbao and dumplings, which are not typical Xi'an food, everything else is very salty. Heavily burned grilled and spicy food. That's the norm for all Xi'an restaurants unless you go to the high end hotel restaurants.

We came to this restaurant 3 times during our trip. Overall the food is good but i think you also have to know what to order. I am not a big fan of the dumplings, but they are OK. Should you wish to order them, I recommend the lamb dumplings. Try the lamb ribs which are delicious. However, there seem... More

Referred specifically here for the dumplings. I must say we were not disappointed. The staff spoke no English but we managed to get the regular set of dumplings. All different fillings and they just kept coming until we were stuffed. I'm sure they gave us extra because we were foreigners. Very good.

Try mutton and beef dumplings there and you will feel the taste of heaven. They are juicy and full of taste. One of the best dumplings I ever had. Made me go next day breakfast as well.

We had a quick bite there on 23 Oct 15. Different from reviews that we read- no long queue and service was good, maybe due to rainy day. We ordered seafood but after waiting for about 10 to 15 minutes the waitress asked if we want to change to mutton or beef (I guess seafood is not as popular as... More

Good Chinese food full of flavour. Had all vegetarian picks which were flavoursome and good quality. Reasonable service. Good for people watching and a break from the Muslim Quarter and markets.

If the crowd is anything to go by this place is extremely popular. Service is fast and efficent but you need a mandarin speaker if you want to order the correct dishes. It is situate in the midst of the Muslim street in Xian which is packed, jammed and chaotic with the local Muslim community selling all types of local halal... More

We had heard so many good things about this place that we had to try it out. The restaurant was pleasingly simple with a local feel. Ordering food was easy. The food, especially the dumplings, were extremely disappointing. The texture and flavour were terrible which was a shame after we had such good dumplings in Beijing.

Tried this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. The food was actually pretty tasty. The menu being in English helped a lot and with the added bonus of pictures made things a lot more easier.... The only thing i would like to say is that i was extremely hungry so i don't know whether the "food" was actually tasty... More
