Highly recommend. Though i am not a pork lover, in fact i consume very little pork. ( but not a vegetarian ) I fall in love with this very famous dumpling specialist restaurant and i very much missing it now back to my own country. there is a 3 differential of this restaurant service provide - fast food for budget... This place is so overrated! The dumplings are supposed to represent an animal or vegetable, however, for $138 Yuan per person for the dumplings banquet, we didn't get any of that. Instead of making them as advertised with color wonton wrappers, the restaurant must had a lazy day...all the dumplings were made with regular off-white wonton wrappers and the fillings... More

We had high expectations about this place. The location is great, however the dumplings were poor quality and tasteless. We payed around 40€, there are better options for this price.

Dumplings are ok only, nothing to rave about. I don't know why this was highly rated by someone. We had expected this place to be a Xian dumpling institution, but it turned out to be no more than a fast food experience.

We were here on a Gate1 tour with 38 others. This was an optional 'excursion' of a Dumpling dinner. Being Chinese and having eaten numerous dumplings and Cantonese dimsum - literally all over the world, we can honestly say that this is definitely not worth it! We didn't like about half of the dishes, and a lot of it was... More

It is a mix of tour buses and locals. It was interesting but not extraordinary. HAving no other experience I would say it was a good meal. Located near the wall so it is easy to explore in the area..

Some of our travel group visited this restaurant in late March. The dumplings just kept on coming - we thought that we were getting close to the end but then found out that we were still working on the appetizer dumplings. In all we tried 14 types of dumpling as well as the appetizers. Most were very tasty. They were... More

It's true and they are tasty. I think we ordered just about there was to order them we ordered more steamed dumplings with pork and celery. There was a desert that was a bun with meat paste inside that resembles peanut butter. Was tasty. Lots of tour groups coming and going and everyone left with a smile. We recommend

We went after reading reviews. When we made reservation for 8 people, they automatically assigned us a room... When we look at the menu, they introduced us to a set for about RMB150 per pax. It allows us to 8 cold dishes, 13 different variety of dumplings. If you sit at the common area of the restaurant , you can... More

We had read this was the place to go for dumplings. We found out afterwards from our guide that it was the place to be 30 years ago but locals no this is just now a tourist trap. Lots of value for the price and there is lots of food. Only problem is dumplings, although they have different fillings, all... More
