Pashtet, a small restaurant I visited twice because of an old cat watching over the restaurant, is generally very good, from the environment to the attentive service. Nice restaurant. All the dishes ordered were delicious, with large portions and adequate prices. Very much liked the salmon forcemack with red caviar, the muxun on Borodin bread toast and the flank steak with bracken, as well as pleased with their taste and dessert decoration: banana curd and curd box. Kitchen for 5 out of 5:) Restaurant recommended!

One of my favorite restaurants in the city! The prices are affordable, I come here mainly during lunch break. The service staff is always attentive and polite. I’m glad that the menu includes such simple dishes as okroshka and pancake salad, which I really like and are prepared with soul. In the summer it goes really well! Serving is prompt and appetizing, everything is very tasty, thank you!

Had family dinner at the beginning of November 2023 Liked: 1) The interior of the restaurant, everything is beautiful, neat, with dignity 2) Quick cooking 3) Good work of the waiters (Daria worked with us) 4) Delicious desserts, delicious original pates 5) When choosing three dishes - a glass of wine as a gift There are no cons. This is an indescribable pleasure. The atmosphere, interior, service are impeccable. Well, the dishes are generally beyond praise. Delicious pates. Green salad and salad with salmon and avocado - gastronomic ecstasy. A special recommendation is white fish dumplings with smoked cheese. Visited this establishment with my Brother. Excellent service, beautiful interior. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. The best lamb kebab I've eaten in restaurants lately - the meat just melts in your mouth. Varied menu, delicious lemonades. I took the lavender-apple one. We had to wait a bit for a free table, but it was definitely worth it. If possible, book in advance. When we are in Yekaterinburg again, we will definitely stop by. 10 of 10.

While visiting Yekaterinburg, we planned to have lunch at the Pate restaurant. They refused to book us a table for lunch, they said come, there will definitely be a place. And so it happened. At our request, the waiter told us about some dishes and gave some advice. Everything we ordered was delicious! We took an assortment of pates - you could swallow your tongue! The place completely lived up to expectations. Be sure to book a table for the evening, otherwise you won’t get to this belly festival!

I can’t speak for the locals, but for all kinds of travelers and business travelers, the restaurant is a must-visit. Great location, interesting interior, kind waiters. The pates on offer are simply delicious. This is not to be missed, especially if this is your first time in Ekata.

Great food, we tried the beef stroganoff, sea bass, grilled vegetables, fries with mushrooms, and honey cake and they were all excellent. Friendly and helpful staff who spoke English and had an English menu also. The restaurant decor was quirky but also homely. Would definitely recommend.

From the first step into it I realized how cozy that place is. My mom and I were waiting for about 15 minutes to get a free table because I hadn't reserved one in advance. The food was delicious, the taste was reach! Thanks for having us your guests!

plenty of 100% Ural dishes

After the good experiences at the Georgian restaurant 'Hmeli Suneli' I didn't expect that this could be topped, but it did so at the restaurant 'Pashtet' (meaning a 'Pie', the Russian word being derived from the German 'Pastete', the French 'Pâté'). Located in a quiet side street and attached to a rather unattractive big building from Soviet times, the restaurant is very atmospheric, with a lot of potted plants, with traditional Russian curtains and lamps and with the waitresses being dressed like local peasant women, some even with the typical hairdo. Just the unobtrusive background music was more jazz-like. The place is very popular, so it was a good idea to pass by in the afternoon and make a reservation. The dishes offered are mainly Russian, with some it says '100% Ural' and this is what I mainly went for. The menu card has pictures and comments in Russian and English. With the friendly waitress I managed well, although she didn't know any English and me hardly any Russian. My first 100% Ural starter had been a choice of different 'Salo' (pork fatback). With it I tried a 'Hrenovaha Vodka' (with horseraddish), which I didn't particularly like, so I changed to a pure 'Onegin' vodka from St.Petersburg. But Vodka is what goes best with Salo. The waitress knowing by now that I wanted local specialities, then recommended me a dish with 'Barrel salted Milk Caps'. It turned out to be one of the best mushroom dishes I ever tried and far tastier for me than the 'Steamed Pike Patties' (100% Ural), which I had ordered before already. Their only 100% Ural dessert was a 'Cheremukhovyi Tort' ('Bird Cherry Cake'), which I had tried before at another place, but here it was softer, sweeter and tasting more of cherry, thus far more enjoyable. Over an espresso at the end I kept pondering how well one can eat in Russia, so different to the days, when I had come here in Soviet days.
