OMG! This is what we said when we saw this cafe after visiting it over twenty years ago. Cafes and restaurants come and go, and only the very best of them stay open for decades. Such is this place serving "pyshki", a local delicacy and...More

Traveling to St.Peterburgs. This’s the place friend always talk about. She brought me there and bought some donuts. It looked simple but believe me, u won’t stop eating it after first bite. A bit crispy outside and then soft inside and it’s not that sweet..

Pyshechnaya was found in 1958! Legendary pyshka is so soft, hot, sweet, you gonna love it! One hour in a queue is nothing to get some! Its like a doughnut basicly. CASH ONLY!

If you are in St. Petersburg you absolutely must go to Pyshechnaya. It feels like Stalin era Russia. For about $2 you get 4 donuts and a cup of very sweet coffee.

We bought six, ate them in minutes and got another three. Everyone around us was getting at least 4 each. It's not a surprise after you tried them. The donuts are greasy, chewy, fragrant and delicious. Wish I could have these every day!

Real soviet style in the centre of the city. You will have to stay 10 minutes in the queue and might not find a place to seat but I think it is worth a try. Served are these kinds of donuts and on the side...More

This is a highly specialized shop (aka donuts only). The donuts are truly tasty and worth a visit. The place is small and it gets crowded as well as very hot inside. I suggest grabbing the donuts and enjoying them outside.

Tasty donuts, cheap price and quick service. Perfect to have a quick stop and try the famous traditional donuts. One can eat at the tables inside or order the donuts to go. Tip: buy more than one!

I have never seen a place to eat so lacking on selection and food quality....but that’s not what you should be going there for. You are going for the experience of ordering the only two things they have, and watching others eat 4, 5, 6...More

Are you sure for the address? Bolshaya Koniushennaya Ulitsa 25. as far as I know there are several places near by, slightly different name.
