We booked here for a silver wedding anniversary & birthday celebration. It was the perfect setting for an occasion like this, the service was fantastic and super friendly and the food and drink were excellent. The hotel where we stayed in St. Petersburg (see another excellent review) even tipped off the restaurant so we got a surprise cake and happy... More

We had a great time at L'Europe. We tried the degustation menu with some extra caviar. Good wine and vodka menu. Tasty food (except for desert). Attentive service. The live classical music and songs show was very entertaining and beautiful.

Service was flawless, absolute perfection! The food was exquisite, beautifully prepared, savory and fresh. The Champagne and wine were excellent. The table was beautifully set. The only disappointment was the room. Possibly dining on a Tuesday evening with fewer diners was the problem. The room is very large and the few murals are lovely however, all the banquet seating areas... More

We have travelled extensively around the world and this has to be one of the nicest dining experiences we have ever had. The history of the restaurant is fascinating and it feels like you are stepping back in time - in a good way. Having a violinist and pianist playing during the meal added greatly to the atmosphere. We had... More

I made the reservations on line prior our visit as the last dinner to conclude our summer vacation. I was really surprised when I got to the entrance of the restaurant and a very pleasant, refined lady welcomed us and guided us to our table without asking for my name, note that we arrived sharp on time, so they were... I was here for the Tchaikovsky Dinner a few weeks ago as part of my vacation! Wonderful setting, wonderful menu, wonderful food, service, wine - and fantastic entertainment: pianist, string quartet, classical singers and ballet dancers. Just a terrific experience - perfect for a special occasion and I'd love to go back! A must!

The ambient very refined, with an threesome of musicians (one piano player, a singer and a a double bass player) that had a blues and american popular music of the 40's and 50's, It was excellent, just for the music it worths a visit. The did the degustation menu for... More

The atmosphere in this large rectangular restaurant with a high ceiling was pretty good. It being Saturday night we were accompanied by a jazz trio - pianist, double bass and a female singer who attracted applause from the diners. If you go on Friday night you hear Tchaikovsky and see ballet instead. The food was of a reasonably good but... More

Dined here on the 29th with my girlfriend. Ordered blini pancakes, mushroom soup, and the kamchatka crab (romanov style). I understand what they mean by "romanov style", as it feels like a failed assination attempt has been made on my life. I spent whole of the next day vomiting and sitting on the toilet every 15 minutes. Thankfully my girlfriend... More

This is a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful hotel. After eating breakfast in a spacious and bright hall I was surprised to see the same room to have a beautifully dim and romantic ambiance. I was dressed in jeans, yet no one paid attention (another tourist) Next time, will definitely dress fancier. The service was superb. 4 course meal was... More
