Food and wine were also great, Fanagoria Saperavi matched well with Kiev and Pozharski cutlets. Fine end to our short trip.

It is not about the more than 260 kinds of Russian vodkas or about the bar where you could have a tasting of as many shots of the fiery alcohol as you can handle and discover historic photographs of the Soviet Union but it is all about the service, the setting and, of course, the food. The menu In English... More

Nothing really special. Good selection of vodkas, of course. Otherwise the menu was a bit limited. Nice ambience but a bit overpriced. Some nice live music. Very little English spoken or understood.

We went for my husband's birthday and it was an excellent choice. Sergei, our waiter, was fantastic! Great variety of Russian food and my husband is still talking about the bone marrow on bread (Moskavaya Zakuska). Live music, and of course vodka, added to the fun and festivity.

Visited with a family and was disappointed with food, atmosphere is nice though. Probably visitors would't recognise the difference, but this was all meant for tourist's lacking the tongue or previous Russian food experience - go anywhere else

After our 5-hour tour walking through the tourist areas, our guide brought us here. We didn't have to stay, but decided to, as we were worn out and our feet were sore. Service was good and our waiter spoke English well. My husband enjoyed the bone marrow appetizer and I thought the baked cauliflower was good, but lacked seasoning. The... More

We were treated with indifference by the hostess and told to sit outside. The smoke out there was awful. Wait staff were very slow with all aspects of service. Food was all quite bland. Overall, a very forgettable experience. Presentation of food was the only thing that was right.

Sort of a tourist trap but still has authentic Russian food. Tons of options on the menu. Chicken kiev was excellent. Strawberry dessert awesome! Attached to Russian vodka museum.

We came here to try Russian classic dishes and of course, lots of vodka. Our waiter was incredibly helpful and helped us pick out the perfect vodka, appetizers, and dessert. We were impressed by the quality of the food and the service. We tried six different dishes: blini and caviar, solyanka, pelmeni, beef stroganoff, pirozhki, and Russian style cheesecake. We... More
