Very rich menu. Very good cuisine. Attentive and helpful staff. You can't smoke here but it's ok because you'll have a good time here - in real historical place.

We did a tripadvisor excursion here and were happy we did so. It is the top Resturant in Pskov and really good food. It is not a Michelin star Resturant but very good for the region and town. We were really impressed. The chicken Kiev was excellent as was the pancake and caviar. Prices were expensive for Russia but reasonable... More

Visited with family in March 2016. Had a lunch with salads, soups, meat. One of the tastiest lunch during our Pskov region trip. Staff was friendly and the dishes were very tasty!

Dvor Podznoeva is perfect place to try authentic Russian dishes in traditional Russian style former merchants' hall. Dvor Podznoeva has 5 different "halls" where you can eat different meals in different prices and time. There is cafeteria type, as well as restaurant and cafe.

Three of us visited Pskov for a day, deep in the winter. We enjoyed a wonderful tailor-made tour of the city with an outstanding guide, Tatiana Korneeva. We concluded the tour with a late lunch at Dvor Pozdnoeva. The venue is beautifully rebuilt and furnished palace in old Russian style. We were warmly welcomed and explained that we had an... More

Very tasty Russian food - perfect balance of spices, high variety of fish and meat. Home-made liquors are the best we tried in Russian restaurants (and believe me we have visited quite a few of such places) - clear taste, smooth, and pleasant mornings afterwards. Pike deserves special mentioning - there are a few dishes with mild taste. Waiters are... More

You walk up stairs into the restaurant and order at the front next to a case of amazing looking desserts! For travelers, I recommend the business lunch. You can get a hot or cold soup with either a pasta, rice, fish, or pork dish! With the soups, you can add in your favorite things like chicken or eggs or mushrooms!... More

Once you have entered the restaurant you feel the presence of history! Big, thick walls, big chairs, personnel dressed in medieval clothes. I can say that there is served the most tasty pork leg in the city, as well as herring with ice cold Vodka!! Service and food is really good!

Visited the beer hall and the coffee hall. The first one was more expensive (some of the foods and most of the drinks are the same, so you can compare the prices, for example a glass of juice drink was 40/60 rubles), but had more atmosphere and the service was quicker (although just as friendly). The food was good but... More
