Not sure what happened when this place closed for a while but re-opening was maybe a bad idea. The place was empty, the food was awful, the menu abbreviated and even though she only had two tables, the service was poor. Keep driving.

Having visited during the summer in previous years, we stopped by for lunch. Significantly smaller menu, the almost all day breakfast was removed from the menu and of the three craft beers we selected, all were out of stock. Go figure. We ordered a couple of glasses of wine and had Budweiser. Then left. There are much better choices within... More

A fun and varied menu, good food, and friendly wait staff. But the absolute best - you HAVE to try the "On your Table S'mores!" A fire (somehow!) on your table, little metal prongs, marshmallows, graham crackers, chocolate - too much fun. I hear good things about their Octoberfst, which I haven't tried yet, but plan on this year.

Heed this advice...we've tried this restaurant a few times, and each time there's been something either wrong with our order, or the food didn't meet expectations, or their service was lacking. Although the craft beers available on tap are a nice find in this "neck of the woods", Marty prices them unreasonably compared to other restaurants in the region who... More

While back in the area, and excited about a return after a few years. same owner, different attitude. ?..but it seems the owner has now decided to cater to someone who has no thought in mind of what a decent meal should be. The wait staff that Came to our table were at various 2 untrained ladies that had no... More

Stopped in for an early dinner and chose outside seating. Rustic atmosphere with comfortable seating and good vibe. Waitress was attentive but we were the only dinner customers. Food (both got pulled pork dinner) was good. Hubby liked the sweetness of the sauce, I thought it too sweet; he thought there was too much sauce, I thought there was not... More

Always had a good meal here even though the service was slow sometimes and the waits were long especially at breakfast. But the restaurant has been closed for months supposedly for renovations but the parking lot wasn't plowed all winter and there is no signs of any work being done. this seems permanent.

great local place for locals and out-of-towners like us. Lively atmosphere with several different seating areas and the food was great!

Out for a leisurely ride on a sunny Sunday and decided to stop at this restaurant for lunch. Should have taken the advise of people who were exiting the establishment stating they waited over one and half hour to get there order. But we still went in. Greeted and seated promptly, The restaurant wasn't overly crowded to cause a long... More

You know the food is good (great) when people are still talking about it a week later. That's what happened when we had Uncle Marty's cater our 50-plus person outdoor party in June. We wanted a Southern-style bbq, so Marty and his team built us a menu -- fruit platters; tomato, mozzarella and basil platters; loaded potato skins, bbq chicken,... More
