The restaurant was a palace in its previous life. You will be in no doubt of this when you enter the dining area ... It is massively opulent and grand. It is more spacious (and a bit grander) than its neighbour, Pushkin restaurant. The elegant atmosphere is rather compromised by a too-loud band and singer who make conversation difficult. The... Highly recommended restaurant! Beautiful interior, delicious food and very good service. My favorites-Peking duck with black caviar and house made sorbet!

Don't WASTE your TIME and MONEY! The Ritz Carlton made our reservations a month in advance and reconfirmed again when we arrived to Moscow. We selected this restaurant based on bygone reputation however, this is a TIRED OLD PLACE that doesn't value their customers who spend hundreds of dollars on dinner. Our specific request was to be seated on the... More

If you want to feel like eating in a lap of luxury this is the place to come and just enjoy the surroundings. As they do cater to tourists there are quite alot of them during lunch. The menus are in english but the food is so so in my opinion. The waiters speak barely decent english so usually they... More

Booked this restaurant due to the building interior and the good ratings, but was rather disappointed, food was only ok, so was the service, not much of an atmosphere, maybe we went on the wrong day (Monday) but prices were mid range.

We booked a table 2 months prior to visit to reserve a table on the second floor of the restaurant. One week prior to our dinner reservation our concierge at the Ritz Carlton reconfirmed our reservation with the restaurant. We arrived at the restaurant and were shown to a table at the ground floor. We pointed out that we had... More

It was a very good branch, very nice terrace, we were fortunate with the weather, good variety, but expected more, non the less, worth going.

Never in our lives did we have such a terrible experience in a restaurant, and we've been to restaurants all over the globe. We heard a lot about the fancy decor of this institute (louis xiv on steroids)so we decided to try this opulent nouveau riche moscovite place. We arrived at 18:00 with no reservation, were seated in the empty... More

We were on a cruise and had a two day stopover in St Petersburg, we decided to book an all day trip to Moscow. After two coaches and a flight we spent about 8 hours touring the fabulous sights of Moscow. At the end of the day we were taken to the Turandot restaurant. Wow, what a building, what a... More

Last time I've been in Turandot around 7 years ago and it was marked in my memory as one the most beautiful restaurants I've ever been in my life. This August when my foreign friend was visiting me in Moscow I've remembered Turandot for its unique design and atmosphere. And it was a really good choice! We went for the... More

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighborhood Profile
Tverskaya
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
