I came here with a colleague for evening dinner on advise of our Russian colleagues. We reserved a table online, prompt feedback. we had a table in the Library hall, great athmoshpere, although full you still feel relaxed. the service was perfect and all questions about the food got answered. Perfectly served, nice decorations on the plate. Wine was quite... More

My Wife and I had a very enjoyable lunch at this interesting historic restaurant. As we paged through the rich menu of many interesting offerings in this charming restaurant, I could not help but recall the tasteless chicken dinners with equally mediocre Russian sparkling wine in very large hotel dining rooms, lit by high overhead lights - not candles, that... Expensive but worth it! Situated in a building that was renovated to look exactly like a Russian Traditional restaurant, The staff speaks English and friendly. My favourite meal is Russian dumplings

Dinner at Cafe Pushkin was the highlight of my trip to Moscow so far. Superb (if entirely reconstructed) grandeur and decor. Food a delicious mix of high Russian and French cuisine. Expensive, but worth it. Music of such an astonishingly high standard that, for most of the evening, I had assumed that it was recorded rather than, as I found... More

This place has one of the coolest vibes I've ever experienced. Imagine going back in time to pre-revolution Moscow and eating in the same place as the Czar and his court. This is what Cafe Pushkin is like. Every detail was incredible, the food presentation, the movements of the waiters and the live music were truly first rate. If you... More

This is very easy: the well known cafe (more restaurant these days) is well worth a visit. The old interior is fabulous! You can have a decent meal here, but it is too expensive. Drop by if you're around!

The food was delicious, as were the interiors (and I loved the idea of the handbag stools) but the service was outstanding. Aside from being kind and generous, and without the snobby arrogance that comes with too much pomp, everyone from the cloakroom to the maitre d' were very professional, providing high quality five star service. If I had to... More

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighborhood Profile
Tverskaya
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
