One of my favourite wine restaurant of high end in Moscow. Whatever you order is going to be delicious. You can be sure you will be suggested a nice bottle of wine to accompany. In summer there is a lovely balcony open. A hint. There is a cigar shop in the same building. It's cool to have a digestive in... More

It's a nice little place, around 10 tables which is not uncommon in Moscow lots of small intimate restaurants as well as large grand ones. The food was ok . I had a salad and the seafood soup light dishes which is what I wanted. The chocolate desert was the highlight of the meal. The wine list is extensive and... More

Good location and nice view on Loubyanka. Possible to enjoy a drink on the small terrace. Very good food and excellent value for Moscow (400 roubles for an excellent Veal with mushrooms). Impressive wine list with large selection of french and italian wines completed with wines from all over the world. Not to expensive for Moscow. The selection of spirits... More

Moscow is a smoker's paradise. I have yet to see a cafe which is smoke free. Dissident is no different. You just have to accept it. Or fart loudly to clear a space. It works for me. I'm a vegetarian so I have a fart which could scare a NY police horse. Dissident is not Italian at all, but very... More

Had a business dinner at this place recommended by a colleague. At our arrival they had no reservation for us although we did called two times. Waited more than 25 minutes for our starter, had to recall waitress for that. no apology. same thing for main course and dessert. Strudel was delicious. terrible smoke smell no air purifier. rates much... More

Pretentious to say the least. This cafe is in a shopping mall and no matter what decor you stick in the unit it won't make it a wine bar. They have an extensive wine list which looks very impressive but the prices are just a joke. We are lucky in the UK that we can buy a good bottle of... More

I had a pre-theatre dinner at the Dissident with my husband. He ate rabbit, and I deer. The meat was well done, although the waiter never asked us about how we would like it done. We hadnt got the time to taste their seemingly very interesting Italian desserts. The wine list was excellent, and they even sell affordable wines by... More

Dissident lives up to its name indeed, they are actively challenging an established policy of the majority restaurants in Moscow: “do not serve any good wine by glass + red wine by glass should be served at 17-18C” and it is located OPPOSITE the former KGB (now FSB) building in Lubyanka square. Actually they have spectacular view of the building.... More
