Disgusting, unprofessional and lacking ethics! Avoid at any cost because you will just have a disappointing experience.

I went here with a friend for dinner. The menu is very complicated and it is impossible to tell how much things cost because most of it is sold by weight. After some back and forth, my friend settled on the crab salad; I had a fish dish. The salad, in all fairness, had a very nice presentation and a... More

When ordering our wine there was no mention of any unavailable wines on the wine list - our first and second choices were not available - the waiter then made his recommendation of another wine. At the end of the meal - turns out that his choice was 3 times the price of our first choice! When fine dining -... More

Fresh and good fish, very well presented. Service is optimum and the wine card with a good choice. It was a surprise to find this quality of fish in the centre of Moscow.

I was super skeptical about eating fish here... Yet astonishingly good salads, Uxa was pretty good too. And nice service

upon entrance you will be surprised by a classic high end interior that might scare you due to price expectations. However prices are quite reasonable and menu options do not show any signs of Russia's product embargo :)

We celebrated Christmas at the new La Maree in Protochniy per. The space is nicely decorated to resemble the sea floor. The crockery is exquisite, personell is very nice and helpful. Seafood from all over the is served fresh and excellently cooked. My personal favourites were prawns in wasabi sauce, grilled seafood assiette and lemon sorbet. I totally recommend this restaurant... Great upscale sea food restaurant in the center of Moscow. Excellent cuisine, freshest sea food, wonderful interior, good atmosphere, impeccable service, venerable visitors, nice live music. On the downside a bit too pretentious and very expensive.

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighborhood Profile
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
