Cafe Michel is in a nice Moscow city center area close to the Pond. It's a good place for breakfast and to meet with friends.

Really nice place to visit in Moscow center. Try great pastries, macaroons, coffee or hot chocolate. Prices are really high but it's not a place for dinner just for coffee.)

This bakery has by far the best freshly baked French pastry, from croissants, to quiche and bread, they have it all. I love their spicy tomato soup and tea with fresh fruit, accompanied, of course, by fresh croissants!

Only reason to go to the cafe Michel you live just around the coner. Otherwise I would recomend to choose another place. Waiters don't speak English. Food is nothing I only liked sheese and cream-brulee.

Had French food and it was delicious. Service was very good (just a bit slow at some point but the place was packed). Complimentary wine and appetizers.

I was at this place 2 yrs ago and then it was good quality for the price. Today the menu choice is poor at best and the food is tasteless and plastic. One more restaurant that has succumbed to squeezing out the last penny from their customers and attracting rich people who don't come for the food but to be... More

Neighborhood Profile
The neighborhood is divided into two major halves by Krasnaya Presnya street: the southern part highlights Moscow city – businesses contained in skyscrapers along with the White House - where the Russian government works. The north is a bit more relaxed and casual, visitors here will find the Moscow zoo, National Centre for Contemporary Arts and a number of fine restaurants. The beautiful neo-gothic Cathedral of the Roman Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is usually packed with the events such as organ music concerts.
