I was hesitant to go in as I was "dressed to the nines" because it looks very formal but nothing could be further from the truth. I sat down, was only going to have a glass of bubbly but was immediately made comfortable by the...waitress. So I went for the caviar. Wow, very nice and not expensive. Then the tomato salad, again, really good. Overall for quality and price I would give this place 5 thumbs up. Hope I get to go back some day.More

We went as a large group and had a condensed menu to choose from - every single on of us still felt the choices were easy and the food was absolutely spot on. The staff were really friendly and ambience of the restaurant in general...is perfect for most occasionsMore

We had lunch today with my wife in this very good restaurant. We sat on the terrace, the temperature was comfortable. We chose the lunch menu and found the food excellent for a fair price. We recommend it.

A fusion of bistro and high end restaurant, MOST was icing on the cake of our Moscow dining adventures in recent days. This city has many eateries --- from formal restaurants to department store canteens serve generally good food, whatever the price point. But at...MOST they have a French chef so here the menu gives barely a nod to Russian faves you see everywhere else. Compared to many similar style venues in Paris, it proved a generous and well balanced dining experience - probably the influence of all that competition from other venues. The dining room is gorgeous and grand period style, centrally located behind the Bolshoi amid buzzy shops and loud buskers. Inside was an elegant haven and very quiet for a Saturday night, which might have been a bad sign. However, the quality of the meals from a small but interesting menu, as well as the motivated waiters who spoke some English and were happy to advise, had us wondering why the place was so empty? An undiscovered secret perhaps? (Maybe it filled up later.) Wines by the glass were interesting and well presented, though typically - for foreign wines in Russia - pricey. MOST is a restaurant that certainly deserves to do very well.More

The very central position of the restaurant is a bonus but the real bonus was the quality of the dishes. We eat here just 3 days ago and just had to repeat the experience the next day too. So meat dishes day one (the duck...and the butchers steak) and then fish on day two (the sea bass and the trout). This was fine dining. Not cheap but with inventiveness and value- else we would not have returned. So we would thoroughly recommend a special occasion meal here. May the chef be retained!More

My wife and I had an great dinner--almost all the dishes were excellent. We will return soon. The dishes we enjoyed and recommend: the crab salad and asparagus, Russian salad, egg for Catherine, and for dessert, the Pavlova. We also recommend the pink champagne--the bread...is also very good. We had the mains of the meatballs and the scallops. They were good, but not to the standard as rest of the meal. We highly recommend.More

Located just in the center of everything in Moscow, this place will surprise you with delicious meals and good service. Very nice interior and they have live music sometimes. Pricy: be ready to spend some 80-120 Euros per person, but really worth it.

It was our last day in Moscow and just two days before the World Cup started. The area around Red Square was teeming with fans of all nationalities and the hotel was bustling with official visitors and players. It was starting to feel a little...crazy. But we found an oasis of elegance two short blocks away from the frenzy: Brasserie Most. We sat on the patio that extends across the front of the restaurant. It was a gorgeous morning and the street was sunny and peaceful. My wife chose the beautiful and delicious Poached Egg with Ratatouille and Basil, and I had the perfectly prepared Classic Eggs Benedict. With some coffee and champagne we were gastronomically, if not emotionally, ready for our journey later that day to Warsaw and then on to Chicago. The service was friendly, attentive, and precise. We wanted to linger and enjoy the fine air, and perhaps more champagne, but our plane reservations demanded that we depart. So we had to go, with hope that we can return someday to Moscow and visit Brasserie Most again.More

The receipt comes in Russian with the exception of one row in English: "Service 10% is not included". Still there was one item added in Russian that we hadn't ordered (translated to dessert), and we asked what this was. Waiter replied "Service Charge". Suddenly they...did not understand any more English... And instead of leaving happy adding tip, we paid our bill with the feeling that they only tried to rip us off for being stupid tourists. Why does these places never learn that service and honest business will earn them more money...More
