Anniversary dinner

I had dinner here with my wife celebrating our 7 years anniversary and we had a pretty nice time. We made a reservation and got a nice spot by the river, you definitely need one if you want a nice view. For main course I...had the Roosters combs stew with Chinese noodles (32 lei) which was pretty good and tasty, maybe a bit too sweet but definitely an interesting combination, for sure something worth trying that you won't find very often in restaurants. I also tasted by wife's slow cooked Beef cheecks with potatoes (53 lei) which were also very solf and tender, a must try if you haven't had it before. We also had Zaza dessert (25 lei) but it took forever to get it as the waiter totally forgot about it and didn't give the go for the order. The chocolate souffle was pretty good and the ice cream was also interesting but I was a bit disappointed that we didn't get any macaroon as presented in the menu. Overall, we had a good dinner, the view was nice but the service was very slow, took about 40 min to get our order for main dish and more then one hour to get the dessert, the waiters seemed very distracted.More

Good, nothing special.

It was 4 of us and we ordered different meals. The food was ok, a bit salty though for all the meals we chose (we eat salty food, however it was a bit too much). The burgers were kind of dry and so was the...salmon. The humus was ok, however came in a small portion and the price did not reflect its quantity nor quality. Food was okish, however it is Not a place we would return.More

Wonderful location and tasty food -restaurant by the Bega river shore

When in Timisoara, I recommend not to miss out this place. The location is on the river shore, it has an inside terrace and an outside one too.And also a boat and roof top. If choices weren't enough and you want to stay inside ,...you can choose that too. The staff is friendly and the chef's food is one of the things you don’t want to miss. Try the feasan pate and if you want suggestions don't hesitate to ask. Everyone is really friendly.More

Almost very good. Get rid of the insects!

Great location, tasty food which was brought in time, the waitress was nice and always helpsul, air conditoining. One thing i didn’t like was that there were tons of flies inside the restaurant. Not rhe perfect image. They were everywhere, even went into my cocktail…

Great food and great location

We had a great time at Zaza. We wanted to stay on the terrace but unfortunately it was raining. Regardless of the bad weather we had a great time.

Great food!!

A great experience! If you ever visit Timisoara and you want to have a great time and amazing food this is the place to visit! We had the ‘Pate pheasant with red onion jam’ to start .. just a delight (and I’m not even a...big fan of pate) and the ‘Chicken Brest with Camembert &cranberries’ as a main course (super tasty) 🥰🥰More

Excellent Beef cheeks

Had dinner from this place a few weeks ago. Delivery was pretty quick, food was also very good. I had the Beef cheeks slow cooked (37 ron on sale) which was excellent, meat was so tender that it melted in your mouth, definitely recommend you...try it. We also had Pizza Salsicia and friarielli (35 ron) which was pretty good, the salsicia sausages were very tasty and had good quality, in all, a pretty decent pizza though maybe a bit burned on the sides. Pizza Quattro formaggi (32) was also good, pretty similar though I had maybe better in other places, not a bit fan of the sides which are mostly bread but the cheese taste was nice. The Pulled Pork burger (24 ron) was also interested to try, the coleslaw salad was inside the burger not on the side, tho not the best I had but a decent burger nevertheless. Overall, we had a pretty good dinner, food was very good, better then the last time, will definitely return.More

Delicious food

One of the best burgers in Timișoara! We bought the Zaza burger and Pizza capriciosa. They were delicious!

Ordering food for lunch at work

We still need to work and for sure we still need to eat .... and eating at work can be a tricky question. So this time I've solved it ordering food form "Zaza". Ordering via divers apps its fairly easy - your food gets delivered...to the required address and you can pay via web. So this time I've ordered a pheasant soup and a Caesar's salad and here are my thoughts: - soup - very tasty with meat inside - a little bit salty for my taste - nonetheless it was good nothing to complain. - salad - was sort of average , to be honest , it was sort of short on dressing but I don't mind a "light" version - the meat - grilled chicken - was fairly good. If you don't like "rabbit food" sure you can choose something else. The menu is extensive from pasta to burgers you have all sort of options , is all up to you to pick what you want. Overall I have to say it was a very good option - and in combination the 2 dishes "judged" together where very good (separate, it would have been a very good with an average one) The price to quality ratio has been very good so for sure it is an option to keep in mind. I recommend you try it.More

Tasty

The place is nice and clean, waiters are also nice and the food delicious. Foie gras is excellent, but also their burger are remarkable. I totally recommend this place.

A great place to eat and drink in TImisoara

Chef Nicu Guștere is a great professional, creative and quality oriented. The plating is nice, the food is great at a very good value for money. Beside the food they have great palinka's from Szicsek and a wonderful boat on river Bega on which you...can have a great meal or a nice drink. Recommend to anybody who want to have nice time and good food in the same time.More
