La Lancu seems to be one of the most popular spots to eat out in Otopeni (granted, there aren't too many), but having eaten there, I can understand why.
Our group of six visited for dinner while staying in the nearby Vienna House hotel. Although we hadn't booked, getting a table was no problem and it was reasonably busy. We sat in the covered area outside of the restaurant, so of course others were smoking. Despite all our party being no-smokers, it was not too much of an issue but if the place was really busy, I could imagine it could be quite unpleasant.
Service was efficient, food (seems to be generally local or Italian) was great, servings were well proportioned and price very reasonable. Nice white beer too!
In sum, you could walk around the middle of Bucharest looking for somewhere just like this, but if you're staying at an airport hotel, this is a really good option. Would happily visit again.

The food is delicious! Fries with grated cheese are spot on, the turkish chicken is crispy and melts in your mouth. The portions are quite big, so if you’re hungry, you won’t be disappointed! Wine is also great and service is fantastic. Friendly staff, helpful and very responsive.

I was having dinner at restaurant Rustic, part of RIN hotel, not bad but i found it a little overpriced, they are taking advantage of the location, hotel being a little away for tje town and of course other restaurants. Then one night i walked down to the road in the town and found this La Iancu restaurant, same food quality for a better orice and service.
Friendly staff, good selection form traditional dishes to pizza and wraps.
I had some pastramy, very tasty and perfecly cooked. The only unclear thing was if that was sheep, want I asked, or beef. It tasted like beef. However was good. Fast sevice, clean place.

This used to be the best restaurant around here.
Now it's become an expensive waste of time, food quality plummeted and the staff working there is simply bored of their job and would probably eat their own liver than be nice to the customers.
What else tgere is to say...cold stake food...tasteless and giving you bad stomach afterwards. I am very disappointed and will most definitely avoid this restaurant from now

The worst place, they say they haive breakfast but they never have, it s the kitchen cleaning, or closed
The stuff is really uneducated and the food is medium , but the price is high

Very nice place, cozy atmosphere. The menu is modern Romanian, with very good food. Nice selection of wines. The waiter was very careful.

Regular food but dodgy services. On top of that they ask you to pay 12% tip which includes their due taxes. I find this lame, so never again

Hostile and no service. I have never been to a restaurant where the waiters were so hostile. They simply ignored us and seemed angry when we wanted to place an order.

Good restaurant with a wide choice of dishes ranging from Traditonal romanian to pizza.
It's a pity they do not serve Sarmale, but Ciorbas are fantastic.
Service is ultra quick and professional. Portions are large enough and pricese are very reasonable.
I visited twice for dinner and both times a band was playing.
The location is very nice and suitable for large groups, family gettogether and romantic dinners.
I wil definitely return if in the area again
