Had an amazing night there, the place wasn't busy at all. The barman recommended us exactly what we asked for. My boyfriend tho kind of regretted not asking for the price of the drinks and got served a really expensive shot of gin. Like the barman explained what kind of spirit it was but he forgot to mention that a shot was like 66 lei, which is expensive. Otherwise we really loved it.

We visited on Saturday evening with a party of three for dinner and it was a nice experience. We were seated inside right away and drink orders were taken. We started with 4 Cheese Fries, they were served very hot, fresh and tasty.
From there we went with entrees; Pork Tenderloin, Cheese Salad, and pasta. These were followed by desserts. All the items were well presented and excellent. The drink were also very well prepared.
The service was outstanding, the waitress was friendly, professional and prompt. Overall: A great place on a Saturday night.

This place is such a fun venue with a really great atmosphere! We frequented this place over several evenings during our time in Cluj and would highly recommend you visit too. Their gin & tonic menu in particular is excellent. I will be back here again if ever I find myself in Cluj once more.

We ordered ribs, and they were mostly fat. Probably worst ribs I ever had. I would personally not recommend this dish.

Charlie has a very nice set up. Staff are very creative and also friendly. It is located centrally in the old town.

We were amazed by the great selection of whiskey available in the local! We had several glasses of Islay whisky, many different drinks and a couple of glass bottles. You will find something for you, that's for sure. The staff really know how to build a customer relationship in a pub, willing to help you decide or even try different liquors.

We had here a business party and the service was amazing! We had fun, the music was good and also the food was amazing! We liked a lot the gin cocktails. We will return!

Easily the best Old Fashioned I've ever had. The bar tenders are true professionals. They know their whiskies extremely well and are super polite. After the second time I visited I ended up letting them mix different variations of Old Fashioneds for me and was never disappointed. Their food is excellent as well. Every staff member I talked to there was super friendly and knowledgeable.

Some colleagues recommended Charlie, so on one of my colleague’s last day in Cluj we went there for dinner. We sat outside and completely forgot to check out the scene inside, which we were told is very cool.
Anyway, the staff at the restaurant is super friendly. They were very good at recommending cocktails based on our tastes. The cocktails were great. I had the ribs for dinner and they were very good also.

This gem offers some very crafty cocktails (especially whisky based). It is located in museum square and has a large, sophisticated indoor bar and a great space to eat and drink in the square itself. The menu is also good - with the best ribs I’ve ever had. Among a lot of good places in Cluj this one is well worth a visit for all round quality, good service and a great setting.

This restaurant is hands down my favorite part of cluj. The staff is amazing they really take care of you and take the time to get to know you as well as remember what you like for your next visit. They offer drink suggestions that are great as well as great food options that will keep you coming back. I highly recommend Charlie to anyone looking for an amazing wine and dine experience.
