The Tomahawk was by far the best thing.Supreme chicken and Buttermilk chicken were also very good.The service was by far the best one we have ever experienced.The waiters are all very approachable and well versed, always willing to help you understand and choose from the menu.The little treat at the end is like the cherry on top. The food arrived in less than 20 minutes both times we went.Came two times and I would go again. Best restaurant in Cluj with good atmosphere and excellent service.

The atmosphere here is simply electric, with energetic staff serving an incredible array of dishes! I was blown away by the flavors and fresh ingredients. Each bite was a delightful experience! They really know how to turn a meal into a celebration. I’ve never left disappointed! Highly recommend!

Good vibes and great music features the place, which is topped with a fantastic food experince. Steak was cooked just as it had been ordered, mămăligă (polenta) went perfectly with beef cheek. The waiting staff was so user friendly that they even helped transfer our table (from the neighbouring Frank the Tank) because of our music preference. So I can heartily recommend the place for everyone visiting the city.

After my college graduation ceremony I had lunch there with my family and in laws. It’s such a cool place, with suspended cars and wheels. The staff was very friendly and the food was great.
We ate medium hamburgers, each of us got different types, and salads. Everyone was satisfied with the food and the whole experience.
Sadly I couldn’t take any picture because we were enjoying that time too much ❤️

One of the best places for food if you enjoy bold, rich flavors and outstanding service with a personal touch. If you’re a fan of Negroni, this place is just for you—they make it to perfection!
A special shoutout to Istvan, our host, who truly went above and beyond. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome throughout our visit. His excellent service made the evening even more enjoyable.

Was in Cluj for business and had a night free. I was looking for a casual place to have some proper bar food. Pulled Pork burger was fine, added potatoes sprinkled with parmesan were crispy but I want to specially mention the great service team. They were very attentive and had a great spirit.
Also, Cocktail was great.

We had a double date here at the start of the year and were pleasantly surprised! Most restaurants have a weak spot somewhere, either mid tier food, unattentive staff, boring decor or not enough variety for the drinks.
I can confidently say this restaurant checks all the boxes for me, but I also think a restaurant doesn't have to be "fancy" to be a 5 star.
The food was delicious and filling, well worth the price. We had the texan country platter and could barely finish it between 2 people. Dishes are American style with lots of meat and sauces, potato sides and coleslaw, and other classics like mac n cheese, chicken parm and BBQ. The decor fits the theme of the food very well, you'll have plenty of things to notice and look at while you eat.
One thing I absolutely loved is the unique cocktail menu, if you're tired of hugos and mojitos this is the bar for you. They're more pricy than the classic, but worth the experience.
And lastly the staff was welcoming and attentive all evening, orders were taken and brought quickly. Shoutout to Octavian for being awesome and taking our picture with my camera!

It’s a very special place for me, since I have moved in Cluj. Good music nice staff and good food especially since they have the new menu . I thing they got to expensive in drinks category and I really don’t like the way the waiters are “pushing “ for tips, a little bit too pushy 😉. But overall, nice place to enjoy a good beer and burgers.

We came in for good food and a couple beers. 2/3 meals were great. Ribs were a bit dry. From the door to the table and from ordering drinks to ordering food, the service was great. After that.. close to non-existent. At some point someone came to take the empty glasses and asked if we wanted more to drink. We ordered more but the drinks never came. It took close to an hour for the next visit from the waiter. At this point we didn’t anymore feel like we want any dessert or drinks. So give us the bill and out we go. Place has nice atmosphere and seems to have decent food and good options for drinks. Service was lacking.

We visited on Monday night with a party of three and it was a nice experience. We were seated right away inside. We ordered a couple beers and a whiskey. They were missing a few of the whiskies on the menu.
We then had Fajitas and an American Steak. The Fajitas were a bit unique, with a nice steak presentation, guac, sour cream and veggies. I would have liked some cheese, but it was not part of the meal.
Service was good, and they were nice enough to split the check. Overall: Good place to stop for a bite.

The tortillas were soggy. The ribs were fatty with no sauce. The chicken parmigiana wasn't crunchy at all . It was runny. There's maybe two items on the meniu that are Mexican. I asked the waiter about the salmon cream cheese bagel that we saw in the pictures here but it was not in the meniu. The waiter lied to me and said it was something they were going to put on the meniu but the picture was uploaded to this site in 2018. Half the pictures on this site are not in their meniu. They're not deserving of a top 10 rating. They're not even top 100. The selection of beer was not extensive. My wife's stomach now hurts after eating the soggy nachos

Had the huevos rancheros and some other dish with potatoes and fried eggs(forgot it's name). Both were truly tasty. The house made ginger beer(non alcoholic) was super good also.
The servers were really nice and welcoming. Even the short-haired girl who was only in training.
As a sugestion, I'd like salt/pepper/hot sauce(sriracha/tabasco) on the table when you order food.

The best thing about this place, in my opinion, is that it is pet friendly. The waitress brought a bowl of water to a customer`s dog, which was very nice. Also the food is excellent and the stuff is very respectful and kind. They gave us some candies before we left. The entire atmosphere was really nice and I will definetly come back to them.

Jaxx is among the very few places in Cluj that I have the courage to recommend to my friends. Staff is great, the place looks awesome and food is delicious. What more can you ask for? They have a variety of craft beer, very good burgers and great brunch choices for the weekend. Plus they really make you feel at home. We're regular customers there and we would totally recommend it.
