On the whole the food was very good, particularly the burgers, chicken fajita and the mexican dishes. The salads were nice too, but what was disappointing was the chips and wedges were uncooked so still a bit hard, and they were quite slow serving the food, especially at none busy times. Definitely worth the visit, but the female members of staff could do with smiling a bit more, they were quite above themselves and I dont know why, maybe because we were English, because that seemed to be an issue with the blonde waitress.

Tasty breakfast but overpriced

We chose Toulouse because breakfast menu looked really nice (about 10 different breakfast options to choose from) and it was one of the few places in the square to open at 8:30. The breakfast and coffee - very tasty. However, 40-50 lei for breakfast (+extra drinks) seems overpriced. The staff seemed like they were not super excited to be working on this particular day and the only extra piece of information they gave us was: 'you can only sit outside' & 'the service is not included' 😅 if you don't care about the prices and the service, food was really good though!

A great variety to choose from - something for everyone. The Arabian plate was a plate of pleasure and generous servings. Falafels were so good that one of my companions admitted that their dislike of falafels evaporated after one of these - crispy on the outside, not too dry on the inside. The water glasses are a stunning blue colour changing as you hold them up to the light. And yes the stacked french fries were something worth trying.

Terrible service

Worst service ever. Usually I’m not the kind of person to write this kind of reviews, but today’s customer service had me so dissatisfied that I had to write this one. I asked the waitress(Laura) to add more coffee to my drink if possible, she said yes without any more explanations. She took my drink and returned with a new one that wasn’t even drinkable (it was all foam). After I paid the bill I noticed that they charged me for two drinks instead of one (and with extra coffee). I went to understand from the barista (Marius) which immediately assumed that we are doing this so we don’t want to pay (EVEN THOUGH WE ALREADY DID). I never intended to not pay for what I asked for, all I wanted was an explanation, however what I got was rudeness and disrespect. I genuinely don’t understand how rude a waitress or a barista can be to talk with the clients this way. I used to constantly go there, won’t happen again.

Rude service, Hair in the food

First of all the waiter was really rude and provocative in his communication and was also discriminative. The whole atmosphere wasn't hospitable at all. I ordered a bruschetta and there was several body hairs in it. (at least 3). After this we asked for tap water as it was unbearably hot but we were rejected. Having worked as a waitress myself, I really find it rude and not at all hospitable.Overall this was a terrible experience and all of the waiters could use a little smile and better attitude.

A terrace to avoid in Cluj – a disappointing experience from all perspectives I visited this terrace, which, although it has aesthetic potential and a good location, seems to have been completely overlooked from the list of places to visit in Cluj, probably due to its poor service quality. From the moment we sat down, we were met by extremely arrogant and unprofessional staff. The waiters were rude and inattentive to the needs of the customers. I ordered a coffee, but the quality was far below expectations: the coffee tasted bitter and burnt, probably due to scorched or poorly prepared milk. Additionally, when I asked for sugar, it was never brought. After waiting for a while, I got up from the table and went inside to ask for it myself. Instead of resolving the situation, I was met by a waitress who responded aggressively. She accused me of having a “bad attitude,” even though it was clearly their mistake. Unfortunately, it seems this waitress chose the wrong city when she got hired in Cluj, as her attitude does not reflect the standards of a city known for its hospitality and openness. Beyond this unpleasant experience with the staff, the prices are completely exaggerated. They charge exorbitant prices for products and services that, in my opinion, are of inferior quality. It’s frustrating to pay so much for such a poor experience. I recommend everyone to avoid this place. Although at first glance the terrace looks nice and has a good location in the city, the reality is that the services offered and the attitude of the staff leave much to be desired, and the prices are completely unjustified.

A very disappointing coffee break

The hot chocolates are super good, too bad the staff forbade us to play a simple card game (UNO), obviously a game without money. I didn't know that sharing a friendly moment with my friends wasn't allowed... It's definitely better that we all be on our phones without discussion. Very regrettable

Drinks in the square

Great place in Cluj square and what made it even better was the lovely Alex who served us. I’m romanian and my partner is English and Alex ensured all our needs were met. Briliant, friendly, mega helpful, speaks English, is effective and more places in Romania need people like him ❤️ Thank you Alex for looking after us and treating us so well. Very disappointing experience.

I don’t suggest this place. I came with 4 friends of mine and we ordered some drinks , but after 30 minutes they weren’t ready yet. We asked politely to bring us the drinks but the answer was quite rude and told us to wait. At that point we decided to leave without drinking and we were very disappointed.

Wrong place to be

Overall a very mediocre place. I went inside bc outside was too hot. Soon after waitress come to my desk she kick me out, unfriendly & very rude vocabulary. I asked for manager for pertaining explanation, we dont have manager herre, please leave was her reply Really unpleasant customer welcome. I took a snapshot with available seats and left I swiched taking the Lunch next door, restaurant with Hungarian tradition AC inside and fabulous food (Rhédey - 👏 Respect)

Great service, very nice decoration, seems like you are actually in a French bistro, good prices. The only minus is that we had a delay in serving the main courses. HUGE portions, well-cooked food. I wouls totally recommend it for good food in the old city center.

One of the best restaurants in Cluj

Not a traditional restaurant. International menus: Lebanese, Mexican, French , all very tasty. Try the Arabian plate, the duck breast salad, the fajitas. Good wines and a rich bar assortment. Prices average to higher, but worth the money.

Amazing Restaurant

WORST TIRAMISU EVER

HORRIBLE. I WAS CRAVING A CLASSIC GOOD OLD TIRAMISU AND THEY SERVED ME A WEIRD CAKE THAT DOESN'T EVEN HAVE COFFEE IN IT. IT IS FANCY AND ALL BUT IT IS NOT A TIRAMISU. LOTS OF NUTS AND ICE ON THE TOP BUT DOESN'T MAKE UP FOR THE TOO SWEET TASTE THAT IT HAS!!! IT WAS ALSO 32 RON!!! SUCH A SCAM. AT LEAST MENTION THAT THE TIRAMISU YOU ARE SERVING IS A RIP OFF!!
