If you travel in Cluj and want to have a good meal in an restaurant looking else then a normal one try Marty Muzeului. I want speak for the other locations, since I haven't been there, but this one has been a great one. We had a dinner there, a group of 9, everybody having something else as the main course, and we have been impressed by the quality of the food, as well as by the service.
They have a young team, maybe not so experienced but making everything for having the customer feeling great. Make sure you have a booking for the evening or you will have to wait a little for having a table. But even waiting is fun since you are not staying at the door, or the bar, but on an old barrel.
And more then that, if you celebrate your birthday, the cake is on the house, with candle included. And the evening we have been there there were about 10 birtdays.
It's a place were I would go again when being in Cluj!

This restaurant seems to have everything: amazing interior design, lovely location, kind staff and attractive menu with a large selection of International dishes, including some with Italian, Mediterranean, Middle East, Mexican and even South-East Asian hints.
It's sparkling clean and on the way to toilet the clients can admire some Middle Age ruins, interestingly displayed behind a glass wall.
The only thing missing from this restaurant seems to be the wow factor of its dishes. A taste to remember, a dish that could make the clients to return saying "let's go to Marty to eat their famous X food!" or "they prepare a decent X food in Budapest, Brasov or Vienna, but the best X food is by far in Cluj, at the Marty's".
I went for the garlic butter tomato shrimps and I expected them to be spicy and smokey from the chipotle, juicy and savory with the garlic butter and tomato flavors mixed together. Well, I was disappointed. The vegan chili was supposed to be spicy and was almost tasteless.
As a family, we have order different dishes and shared them, just to check the taste.
They were all OK, yet nothing to write home about.

The service was very nice! We got our dishes quite quickly, the staff was smiling and was very nice.
The decoration is very very beautiful, small terrace outside and inside a kind of small jungle with plants suspending. We also like the fact that we can see the kitchen. Air conditioning !
The proportions were very nice and the taste of the food was delicious! They have a huge menu with picture which is really appreciated when you don’t understand Romanian language. It is also in English. There is a lot of choices of drinks and a lot of choices of food and of desert.
The price quality ratio was good, you can easily have a dish around 40-50lei and if you want to have really good meat you can also have dishes around 100lei. It is good for everyone
(On the picture there is only 3 mozza stick but there were 5/6 when it arrived)

It's been a while since I visited this place and decided to go for lunch.
I had the chicken bowl with avocado and the person I was with took a filet steak.
They've decided to bring the steak very close to well done, without asking.
The chicken was bland, hard as a rock and obviously cooked before hand.
I remember having this dish in the past and was always amazed at how succulent the chicken was.
This was one of the very rare occasions I ate less than half of something I ordered.

I went today with my friends at brunch as we established to have a “girls day”.We ordered double latte and it was so good.For someone who doesn’t like coffee at all, it was a very pleasant surprise.If you know that you are not a coffee fan, you’re gonna love this, because it is very sweet and you don’t really taste the espresso.We ordered also “cookizza” and let me tell you….IT IS THE MOTHER OF DESSERTS!IT WAS PHENOMENAL!It is very very sweet, not gonna lie, but the ice cream balanced the flavours very well.You have to try this!!
The location is very good-looking and the prices are ok.

I'm giving the place this rating overall, since the staff was very kind, the coffee was very good, but unfortunately what I had to eat seemed better on paper in the end. I ordered the chicken marinade & hummus bowl, and the food was missing seasoning in my opinion. I also found bits of fat and a small piece of bone in the chicken breast. Overall the experience was okay, but definitely not because of the food.

The pizza I had was OK but nothing special, however my wife had really good shrimp and sauce picante. The Rose house wine was also good and the service was fast and accurate. Nice atmosphere and a busy happy crowd.

Poor service, the sous vide chicken was very dry (kitchen said that's how they cook it), the salad had no dressing, all in all unedible.
The hummus with olives was good.

0 customer service, they argue with customers and fobbed me when I tried to split the bill, telling me it can’t be done - 2 minutes later another waiter showed them how. When trying to book the table, they said they’re fully booked - before even asking which day or time.
Zero respect for customers. Avoid.

Really good location, excellent food, nice waiters, super cool design, kid friendly, but absolutely TERRIBLE music. Been there two times, and there was this edm/techno/loud music, don't even know how to call it. It was extremely tiring, I couldn't wait to finish my meal and get out for some silence. Really bad experience, since I really wanted to enjoy a nice evening out with friends and family, but instead we felt like being in a noisy club and had to talk really loud so we could hear each other. It did steal the experience away. I was there around Christmas too, so I guess a few Christmas tunes wouldn't have hurt anybody, but honestly, everything would be better than that noise they play there. Good music = good experience. I really hope they change it, because the restaurant is good and I love the menu.

More than you expect or you can get. Great waiters and an incredible chef. All but superlative. After lunch didnt need to look for different restaurant. Very good wine variety.

It was a great pleasure to discover this restaurant in the heart of my living town; the food is prepared behind a glass wall, so everything is transparent; they had at that time - on Saturday evening - a DJ who made my day with the songs and atmosphere created; cool place, I love it
