Pretty close to the city center, very nicely decorated with traditional romanian accents. It offers a wide variety of traditional dishes cooked fresh and served in a traditional style. A must on every tourists 'go to' map.

If you are in Cluj-Napoca and want to try some great romanian food, this is the place to be! Very wide range of food to choose from and very well cooked. My favourite plate here is the beans soup served in bread - awsome!

Also you might find many dishes to match and resemble the ones you would eat in Budapest. That's because they are our neighbours and the influence is there. Amazing huge heavy meals, not for diet though. ha!

Wide variety of traditional food in a very good location with historical decorations. Totally recommend mostly for tourists who want to try the local food at an affordable price.

I have eaten chicken stroganoff, which is awesome, and tripe - you have to try them both, they are very tasty! The mashed potatoes could use improvement, sour cream/milk/butter would make it a lot tastier and softer:) P.S. The second time I ordered, I asked for polenta as a side-dish for the stroganoff, because the "default" one is mashed potatoes... More

What delicious soups. Delicious meat platters and the bread goulash. All in all a great restaurant for a large gathering and great food.

While wanting to spend some quality time with friends for a drink, we found out that the food is very good, I would say that it's one of the few places were the traditional recipes are kept and delivered to the customers as we say "ca la mama acasa". Beside the food the deserts are good also and I recommend... More

This is a nice traditional restaurant with decent prices and large portions, but the food was simply average. My husband's soup was tasteless, my meat was below "tasteless", the dessert (papanasi) was huge, but also...tasteless... Service was friendly.

When you have visitors from abroad and you want to offer them a taste of Romanian food, this is where you have to take them! The staff are all dressed in traditional costumes. They serve in wood and ceramic dishes. Music is Romanian sometimes...most of the times :) And food is really Romanian! The feeling you get is ...something like... More
