I’ve been here several times, and it’s always a pleasant experience. The location near Muzeului Square is lovely, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s especially nice in the summertime when you can sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. The pasta is freshly made, and the menu, while not expensive, offers delicious options that are well worth the visit. I totally recommend checking it out!

We went there at about noon, right as it was starting to get busy. Nice and welcoming atmosphere, staff were really friendly, easy going, and profesional. From the time we entered the establishment, by the time we got our food and drinks served passed only around 10 minutes. 10 out of 10 food. Would definetly reccomend going there. We really look forward to coming back here next time we visit Cluj Napoca.

The ambiance is warm and inviting, soft ambient lighting, and the faint aroma of garlic and fresh herbs lingering in the air. The service is impeccable, with friendly and knowledgeable staff ready to guide you through the menu, ensuring a delightful dining experience. I personally ordered carbonara pasta, and the taste was beautiful, it went well with some spicy oil and extra parmigiano shaved by our waiter, Robi. They also had a robust green iced tea which was amazing. Really liked the atmosphere, taste and the personnel.

I arrived together with a little and hungry girl at 3:30 p.m., we were told that they are on a lunch break and resume work at 4:00 p.m., but to place the food order and ours will be the first after the resumption of work. The break passed, my daughter was getting hungrier and counting the minutes. A simple lasagna that was heated in the oven for 3 minutes was served to us at 16:20, but other customers who came after us received their pasta before us. Our waitress, Dora, approached us at the beginning and at the end of our meal, otherwise she ignored us. You lost us. Happy birthday, but definitely pay more attention to customers and children! Great food but poor customer service.

We went on a business meeting at this location and even though the pasta was surprisingly one of the best ones we've tasted in Cluj county, the waiter ruined the experience for us. He was very rude and ignored us on multiple occasions. His name was Robi and he was impatient when we asked for more parmesan cheese on our pasta and when we asked for the check and we chose not to tip, he got angry and asked us to leave immediately.

The restaurant seemed busy all day - we went quite late for lunch but as we ate there was a queue waiting for a table. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente and all reasonably priced so great for a quick lunch. Right next to the excellent Jewish history museum and the local history museum.

I don't want to miss the wonderful pasta on our Cluj holiday anymore. We have been happy to come again and again for years and are happy about the varied and also classic pasta creations. The service is always top and even if it is full you get a table after a few minutes at the waiting point without any problems.

During our time in Cluj we stayed one evening at the Tortelli Pasta Bar for dinner. The service was not too fast, although only about half the tables were occupied. The location was almost full on Friday night, which is always a good sign. We had to literally sit at the bar, but it was alright since the food was good. The location is very cozy and full of life, the staff polite and cheerful, overall we had a great night. Two things made me not give this 5 stars: 1. The location is pretty small, so coming in with a group is not recommended, it gets crowded pretty easily 2. There was no focaccia available for our appetizer, we were told this beforehand, which was fine. We ordered it anyway, but since something was missing from the dish it would've been nice to replace it with something else, maybe some cheese pieces I do recommend it for pasta lovers and couples

Awesome Night with Awesome Pasta

We stopped for some tea in our trip to Cluj-Napoca today at a local pasta bar. We loved the italian theme added to it, the atmosphere was amazing, it all went together really well. The pasta was great, I had some pesto with a very delicious zucchini. We also got cheesecake which was better than we expected from a pasta place and on top of all of this we met a really nice waiter who was really patient and professional despite being only a teen, his name was Robi. Awesome experience, would highly recommend you visit this place if you are in Cluj-Napoca or somewhere close.

Stumbled upon Tortelli Pasta Bar for lunch with my girlfriend, and what a delightful find! This cozy little spot in Cluj is a pasta lover's dream. We kicked things off with a crispy focaccia that was simply chef's kiss. Their Carbonara... Compared to the experience a few years ago, disappointing. Pasta carbonara would have turned an Italian in his grave, at least if it was made with bacon it might have been better. But the meat used was far from guanciale, perhaps more like "Sibiu salami". And the sauce, almost non-existent, probably jarred sauce from Kaufland. And I have no words for the baked pasta with chicken and mushrooms, the sauce was actually pasta water with a bit of oil and the flavor leaked from the mushrooms and cheese. Very disappointed with Tortelli Pasta Bar. The staff were more interested in socialising with friends either visiting the Bar or passing by than with customers. The member of staff who served us needs training on the menu especially on allergens and how to speak to customers. She was rude. The English menu has allergens listed as numbers with no key to decipher the allergens. When we asked the waitress she shrugged and said she didn't know. My son has a dairy allergy and she said there is dairy in the pasta itself and not just the sauce which would be very unusual. She eventually went inside to find out and found a plain pasta with tomato sauce that he can have. All sauces are pre-made. I understand not everyone is familiar with allergens but training should be giving or at least decent polite staff who just say they don't know but will find out and come back to you. My 6-yesr old daughter had a lasagna which was served on a very hot dish. Any decent human being would warn the customer especially a child that the dish is hot. This didn't happen and my daughter burnt her finger. The food was very mediocre. We have been to lots of restaurants all across Romania on our holiday. Everyone has been polite and helpful. This has easily been the worst restaurant we have visited. In today's climate with so much competition I don't think you can serve mediocre food with terrible staff. Not a good combo. Would not recommend sorry.

Busy spot, sells just few pasta dishes but all good. Host recommended the “special” clams from Italy and pasta. Did not disappoint. Place is a bit noisy but very hip. The pasta is so good I recommend getting as little on it as possible since tomato sauces tend to hid the flavor.

Excellent place for eating very tasty food, both with friends and solo. Bringing my international friends here leaves them dreaming about the pasta and lemonades one can get here. The service is amazing - professional, friendly, quick, giving great recommendations. My go-to good vibes pasta place in Cluj, has a homely feel to it.
