Years ago, we used to eat here while it is not this famous and it is just one of those stalls inside the Lapaz Market. Now, it is air conditioned and it is a famous Lapaz batchoy brand with branches nationwide, I guess. Now for the food. Their menu has already expanded from the usual egg noodle batchoy only, ..... You have never been to Iloilo if you have not tried Ted's Lapaz batchoy. This time it has given you more choices to choose from depending on the noodles you like because there is now sotanghon and miswa if you like.

There are a couple of places that claim that theirs is the authentic and original Lapaz batchoy. It doesn't matter, I appreciate them all. Good mix of noodles, meat and entrails. They do offer choices for noodles, other than the usual miki. Great tip for those who don't know it though, the soup or kaldo is unlimited you can keep... More

The standard has deteriorated over the years and it started to get pricey as well. It is now too commercialise for my liking. It was like eating from an instant bowl of noodles flavoured lapaz batchoy from a supermarket . But of course the only difference is the meat that they put in it.

Never failed my expectations. We felt revitalized after eating la paz batchoy after a long trip. We ate there for 2 times when we went to Iloilo, one was after we landed in Iloilo airport and the second one was before going back to Manila. Will surely visit Ted's again on our next visit.

Make no mistake about it. I liked the batchoy. It is just that the setting looked pretty much like the Manila-based fastfood restaurants. It was in sharp contrast with my first batchoy in a public market in Iloilo which was quite an experience.
