an old house converted into a restaurant, they serve various kinds of filipino food - especially seafood. the grilled tuna belly was very good. i also liked the halaan which were very big and the soup was tasty. servings were big and prices are very affordable.

food is superb. big servings, delicious! the place is also great as it was like an old house turned into a restaurant with lots of antique displays and paintings and other collections. you can check the items out while waiting for the food.

The old home converted to a restaurant is full of memorabilia that your eyes will feast on. If you are a fan of old stuff, this place will not disappoint for sure. I love finding old cameras and some stuff that can be rarely seen nowadays. It has a cozy setting and feels like just eating at home. As for... More

Loved the turn of the century Filipino decor and the very friendly and efficient staff. The food is so delicious--from the soup, the main entrees ( grilled tuna, squid with ink, spicy crab, calamares, scallops, prawns, rolled fish) to the dessert (tskolate cheesecake). Come early or reserve a table because this place is so popular.

I visited and tried their branch in SM Seaside. First impression i loved their turn of the century motif. The waiters exuded true Filipino hospitality and courtesy. Their food was good and had good serving size. Its a must visit when in SM Seaside :-)

The tuna belly was just incredible. Beautiful bit of fish. The grilled squid, spicy calamari, Tinolang manok, fried rice was all perfect. Good value to for what we had. For this quality tuna we will always return and will pay a bit extra to have the tuna belly. It was a busy Sunday lunch time and the customer service was... More

It's filled with old world memorabilia. Spread out through the the restaurant, one gets a feeling of being transported back in time when times were simpler and peaceful. The STK dishes were great as was the seafood ones. We just had to have the "panga" redone as it wasn't well grilled. This was the result of "pre-grilling" the seafood items.... More

For sure our biggest culinary highlight on our Philippine holiday trip. Best Tuna steak ever eaten. For philippine food prices slightly pricey, but 100% worth the Tuna Steak. Dont order anything else there!;)

First of all, it's hard NOT to remember the rather longish name. STK stands for the local dialect's term for grilled, sour soup, and pickled, a description of the type of food one can order in the restaurant. The ambience of this seafood house is unique. It's actually an old house with 1930s-1960s memorabilias and antiques. Their POS is even this old cash register. Their phones are the old ones with dials. Then the food. They serve authentic grilled Filipino dishes like the jaws of the tuna fish ("panga" in the local dialect) and innovative creations like curried crabs. Finally, the bill...US$7/head and you head out with a doggy bag! Good ambience, excellent food, and great value for money.
