The best I can say for this restaurant is "nice try" but not quite there. This is a beautiful restaurant with great ambience and outstanding service, but the Mexican food is just not quite right. The chicken fajitas were not cooked right, at least for my Tex Mex preferences. The fajitas were roasted and then maybe (or maybe not) grilled.... More

This place has great ambience, attentive friendly staff and delicious food. The menu had your classic Mexican meals (fajitas, burritos) but seemed somewhat limited. There were no vegetarian options and the dishes don't come with any sides. I would expect as standard a side of salad or rice instead of this costing extra. It is pricey but the food tastes... More

This is the place to be every Wednesday night in Cebu, no other! You can do salsa dancing or get nachos with salsa sauce or both! Vamos a bailar!

Excellent service.. Special thanks to Sir Crisdon for taking care of our table that night.. 2 for 1 margaritas and tortilla with cheese sauce were a hit! Professional dancers teach you how to dance the salsa all night.. Definitely a must do in Cebu!

Came here for a few drinks with friends paired with their awesome fajitas and enchiladas. Good vibes for a Mexican restaurant. Good food. Very attentive staff.

Fantastic ambiance, magnificent cuisine and reasonable prices at Maya restaurant in Cebu. Enchiladas and jicama salad are particularly good, but I would say that all the dishes in the menu are equally excellent. They have a good selection of tequilas and quite decent margaritas (their mojitos are slightly improvable for my standards, sorry). Service is as usual in Cebu, very... More

The food was not authentic Mexican food for someone who is used to Mexican food in the US. It was expensive. The service was good.

Though a bit pricey, Maya served the best Mexican food. Fajitas, Chimichangas, and they serve the best Mojitos in Cebu. Wednesdays are Salsa Nights where ladies get free drinks. Weekends are usually jampacked especially towards the wee hours of the evening. A must visit for Mexican food and Mojito lovers.

Coming from California and living in Bangkok, Mexican food is something that I miss. The food at Maya is as good as anything I ever had in California or in Mexico. It was so good that we went back two nights later! First of all...the mojitos are OUTSTANDING!!! The ceviche is amazing...especially the ceviche pescado with marinated mackerel. Nachos are... More

Maya was created to be a casual restaurant and tequila lounge: laid back and subtle, with efficient service and reasonably priced. The sophisticated yet casual allure of Maya seamlessly blends old world charm with modern elegance. Succulent aromas from the kitchen mix tradition and ingenuity while setting the stage for your dining pleasure. Maya also has the largest selection of 100% pure agave tequilas in the country, which in addition to our premium house pours are sure to charm.Maya is committed to the timeless tradition of Mexican food – utilizing countless ingredients and dishes, and perhaps most importantly, the rich family tradition of preparation, which is done by hand using the freshest local ingredients that are regionally available. By embracing both Mexican tradition and local sensibility, we offer a creatively classic cuisine that unites well-known Mexican street food from the stalls of Mexico City and family dishes from the coast of the Mayan Riviera and the inventiveness of the Hispanic American communities of California and the American Southwest.
