The original place was always clean. Food was typical Davao buffet type food not the best and not the worse. The problem was the owners attitude. He was always right and no one could make any comments because he took offense and would attack you verbally and on the Internet. He also allowed his religious fanaticism interfere with with running... More

When we visited this place, maybe it was just bad timing. It was around past 3 in the afternoon and maybe we're a bit too late or too early. We had our lunch and it's nice to say that it was clean and the staff there really catered to our need. But yeah, the food was no longer hot when... More

Wow!!! The Blue Carabao has been closed for almost 18 months. Did you not see the big sign above the entrance or notice the name on staff shirts or see business name on you official receipt ? That location is called the 'BluCab Diner'. We stopped doing business in Davao because this city does not like honest business people. Because... More

When you're tired of the hotels serving even if it is a buffet set, it is definitely better to get out and hitch a ride to Blue Carabao Diner. And there awaits you the taste and a variety of Filipino food you can choosw from. From fish, to meat and vegies. oh i forgot to say this, cheaper price but... More

We often dine here because we enjoy their food and the variety of choices. It's a no frills eatery, no air-condition (no problem!) but it's comfortable. Prices are also cheap.

I think this place is great! The food is fresh, the place is spotlessly clean, the staff attentive, and the prices very low for what you get I see Peter W complained it wasnt what he expected. However I do see that Peter W gave Blue Carabao the same rating as he gave Vikings Buffet in SM - so that... More

After eating at Penong's, the portions here are much larger. Blue Carabao serves food in an ala carte manner, you walk right up, and choose what you want to eat. The main gripe is that we arrived just before noon, and the food we had were all either cold, or we could tell that they have been left out in... More

We have been in this dining place by chance when the driver of the van suggested this to us. The place was ok, the usual carenderia but the food is affordable with lots of choices. The food tastes good and the staff wears hair nets. Good value for money.

The neighborhood is not very inviting, but the place itself is nicely done and very clean. We had excellent curries there, price was very affordable.

Hi,thanx for visiting us and we are thrilled that you enjoyed our curry meals. I agree with you when you say the neighborhood is not very inviting. We have tried to change that but people in this area don't like change even if it improve their lot in life. Maybe on your next visit you can plan to visit us... More

Hello, when you visit Davao City,do yourself a favor and visit the "Blue Carabao Diner" and treat yourself to some of the best tasting, affordable Filipino styled food in Davao City. We are an open air styled establishment that lays out our meal items banquet style or what they call "toro toro"style, meaning point at the meal item you want and a server will give you a serving of that meal. We invite you to check out our kitchen anytime before you eat in our establishment so that you can have confidence in the food we offer. Not many restaurants will make that offer, but we at the Blue Carabao Diner are proud of our kitchen and it's staff and look forward to your personal inspection. My name is Sherry Scott and i am the business owner and head cook so you are important to me and the growth of my business. If for some reason, you are unhappy with a meal,i will either replace the meal, return your money for that meal item or give you a voucher for a free meal upon your next visit to the Blue Carabao.Try finding a restaurant in Davao City that stands behind the quality of it's food like we do at the Blue Carabao Diner. Our servers wear special hairnets and serving gloves and most can speak English, but if you find it hard to communicate with a server, please request for management to answer your questions or explain meal ingredients for you.If you are a first time visitor we will be more than happy to give you a small sample of a meal before you purchase it.Or if you just have questions about Davao City or need directions to a certain location,we will be happy to look after you. My staff and i look forward to your visit and will do what we can to make your visit to the "Blue Carabao Diner" one of the highlights of your trip to Davao City.Sherry & Francis Scott 09/05/13 Please check out the Fall issue of Sizzle digital magazine pages 44 to 46 as we have been given a mention by Chef David Wasson from Seattle, Washington,USA. 05/14/13 We received our ServSafe certification for excellence in sanitation and food safety.10/2010 We where featured in the following newsletter. PCC vol 9 No 4 Newsletter cover is a picture of our 'carabao pochero'.Check out pages 3,4,5,and 19. It was a wonderful humbling and elevating experience to receive and read that magazine. All credit goes to my hard working wife and Chef extraordinaire, Sherry and our dedicated staff.
