I drove in early to the Ortigas Center area, avoiding the traffic and coding scheme. So, I decided to have breakfast here. I wasn't in the mood for the buffet, so I just decided to order a la carte. I ordered the tocino with eggs and rice. I had to let them re-do the tocino, cause I liked mine well... More

I used to consider this restaurant one of the best if not one of the better ones among the many hotels offering dinner Buffet. This last visit however was disappointing given the choices and quality of the food. It seems like the chefs here at heat have lost their creativity in creating new and delicious dishes since the dishes we... More

We ate here for breakfast, because we got a room with free breakfast. The food is superb. 6 and below are free while 7 and up gets 50% off. There is a wide variety of dishes such as Japanese, English, Indian, Chinese, and Filipino food. I like the "taho", which is soy based pudding or soft tofu with sweet syrup... More

The meat carving was great. Cooked the way I like it. Juicy but not bloody, tender and flavorful. They also have a noodle station with choices of soupbase: seafood, chicken and laksa. There is also an Indian station and a shawarma grill. I love the experience of putting as many mean and dressing to my pita. Fresh prawns are availble... More

Heat is a very nice place to have a meal However, since it is in a hotel, the food is overpriced as compared to other restaurants in the area (inside the mall adjoining the premise)...and you may even get a more sumptuous meal. I'm guessing most people avail of the buffet which may be worth it if you are really... More

I had lunch early in the week. Staff told me that its dinners were generally more popular than lunches which makes sense as this is largely a business hotel (and priced accordingly) where the guests might be working at 12 noon. After arriving at 1225 I was slowly shown to one of many vacant tables. I estimated there were 100... More

I am a frequent hotel guest of shangrila hotels especially edsa shangrila that I consider one of my sanctuary. Garden Wing w/ Sauna and Jacuzzi Room is one of the best in the Philippines. Having breakfast at HEAT is something that I also looked forward checking-in at edsa shangrila that had started to become less exciting now. I noticed how... More

If you really want to eat the best food in town, just get yourself a nice table and start moving from one "island of dishes" to another, one by one. Such a rich variety of cuisines from all over the world for a good price. Friendly waiters and excellent ambiance.
