We don't have any idea what to expect since that was the first time that we'll be eating Indian Food. We asked for recommendations, but we finally decided to order the Non-Veg Platter and a scrambled egg for our son. The food was good, but...More

I've been to New Bombay thrice and this is the first Indian restaurant I've tried. Being an Indian food newbie, I find New Bombay good. I like their Mutton Masala, Chicken Tikka Masala, Malai Prawns and Butter or Garlic Naan. The serving is usually good...More

Indian restaurants always use the words - Authentic. Is it because they know restaurants like this exist? As the food is nor Authentic. It lacks taste, spices and appeal. It really has no taste and a heavy smell of Ghee. It was very disappointing and...More

An Indian restaurant with a Philipino chef. Dishes had a "kind of a hint" of an Indian taste. Shrimps burnt black outside by still being "rawish" inside. Vegetable curry mushy and boring. The lamb curry was a 7 on a scale from 1 to 10....More

The food was excellent, and the restaurant was quite full. The service was rather average and could have been slicker. Disappointed that they did not serve wine by the glass, and only had one bottle available on their menu. This did turn out to be...More

Atlast some good Indian food in Makati area. We ordered for fish chilly tikka which just melts in your mouth accompanied by mint & tamarind chutney. It was cooked to perfection. The hydrabadi chicken Biryani is spicy & tender cooked chicken fills your stomach. For...More

Small cosy restaurant with upstairs seating The service was very good and friendly, Food was very bland, tasteless. Ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and Mutton Rogan Josh but dishes were tender but just lacked flavour. The natural yoghurt and plain Naan were very good!

Butter chicken, Palak Paneer, Nan - good flavours, and actually able to make spicy. But dinner here with php500 per person and no alcohol - bit on the expensive side. Good service.

New Bombay fixes up a good-enough chaat, and their choices for vegetarian curries are good. Beware their gulab jamun though - it's way too sweet.
